In a deciduous forest there is a moderate amount of rainfall, so the area can support a medium-number of large trees. Because forests are reletively sparse as compared to rainforests, sunlight reaches the forest floor, allowing for moss and ferns and such to thrive near the base. This allows for a lot of plant life. In these areas, summers are hot (up to 35 C I believe) and winters are cold (-10C) so all organisms are well-adapted to living in both warm and cold environments. For example, deciduous trees lose their leaves to conserve energy in winter and bears hibernate in the winter in order to conserve energy they stored in the summer months when food (berries and small game and such) is plentiful.

The slash and burn technique releases CO2 into the atmosphere. The trees that used to fix this CO2, hold the soil in place and provide water vapor through transpiration are gone. The the lack of water vapor decreases precipitation, the lack of precipitation dessicates the soil, the dry soil without any roots anchoring them is more susceptible to erosion, the increased greenhouse gas of CO2 traps more of the suns heat, leading to even dryer soil, the fertile topsoil blows away. In a few years that lush rainforest will become a barren desert.

Animals that may live on a Kapok tree may be monkeys, tigers, birds etc.

Ponds and lakes typically become forests by silting up. The sediments of a river can become trapped in a shallow lake and eventually becomes higher than the water level or water table. Rapid drumming betrays the woodpecker before it is encountered. A juvenile great spotted woodpecker is resplendent in his fine coat of black, white and red. His beak a drill forages for grubs beneath layers of bark. A black birds warning call send the woodpecker into sudden flight.

A disturbed log reveals a bustling crowd of mini beasts searching for an exit like passengers off the tube. An earwig stands out with its vivid orange exoskeleton. Its antennae feel for its exit and it slides into the rotten wood. Ants lead in a trail towards their crushed ant hills.

At the foot of a holly tree stands a gorse bush, its yellow flowers radiant like millions of tiny suns. Empty snail shells lie smashed on a rock. Arum pushes through the decomposed soil in clumps, its berries not yet fully developed. Tree roots zig zag through the may paths creating waves in the soil. Bramble bushes stand guarding the exit with their treacherous thorns.

it causes lot of disadvantages like global warming, dries up land because the trees provide shade and without shade the ground dries up. Also, increased erosion because the root systems aren't there to stop it.

The difference between a mountain range and a mountain chain is that a mountain chain is a row of mountains and a mountain range is lots of mountains in one area.

80% of animals live in forests or trees.

They are being destroyed because humans cut down the trees in the rainforest. And when we cut down trees, we're destroying homes belonging to animals who live in that area. Also if that keeps on happening the animals will die with no home to find in the trees. Also I think that since the trees are being cut down sooner or later the trees that are being cut down will provide us less air. With this matter of fact we can not spare another tree to be cut down.

One way to save the Rainforest from vanishing, is to stop cutting down the trees, bushes, and brush. If we do this our people, and animals will be happy, and the Rainforest will be saved. You can also plant more flowers, trees, brush, and bushes, so when/if they do cut down the trees, there will be plants to replace them.
