What happened to Ernie anastos on ch 5 Fox News?
I’m asking that question.. does anyone out there know?
Why are many right wing posts so rude?
They are no ruder than left wing posters, you are just much more sensitive to what the right wingers are posting. I find it clearly the opposite.
Opinion 1:
In one person's opinion, Greta van Susteren fits this spot. Alan Colmes, a frequent guest on various shows, can also be categorized here. Others include Bob Beckel, Kirsten Powers and Juan Williams
Opinion 2:
Since Fox News is a propaganda vehicle for large corporations, they like to make the world seem simple by offering the voters only choices between Democrat and Republican.
Instead of offering real debate about the issues, a Fox News democrat is portrayed as a whiny, skinny, sniveling indecisive person of weak morals who pales in comparison to the moral giants of the right wing republican mainstream. Even his physical build is lesser than the representatives of the right.
To see where the wealthy learn these tactics, read "The World Outside and the Pictures in Our Heads" by Walter Lippman, one of the founding evangelists of the use of media influence over public opinion.
You should be able to see where the idea of media control of voter thought gained impetus in America. Modern Social Psychologists have expanded on his premise. Read "Influence" by Robert Cialdini or "The Age of Propaganda" by Eliot Aronson, or if you are really having trouble going to sleep at night, you could tackle "Manufacturing Consent" by Herman and Chomsky.
If you read between the lines and think how buying media outlets and twisting the message in favor of the wealthy might pay off, it will explain a lot. By controlling the six minutes of news the average voter watches each day, you can own that vote. Social Psychology is too powerful a science to resist.
For historical context from other societies, Hitlers' Germany and Chinese Communists used propaganda almost as effectively. They did not have the benefits of TV news and Washington think tanks, but they did pretty well with what they had.
Fox News is a subsidiary of News Corps and was created as a Rightwing Propaganda Network. It is owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch, who, until recently has never been responsible for his actions. News Corps actively admits that they are NOT a news organization, but are what is known as a Tabloid News Organization. In other words they contend that they never told anyone that anything they said was factual but was "created for the sake of entertainment", not as a news source. Roger Aisles has had to openly admit that he lies constantly.
A slightly more unbiased answer: I'd be interested to know where the author of the answer above gets his/her data. Although a staunch conservative, I have yet to see where a flat out lie has been told by Fox News or even by the other news networks. I still watch the other Cable News Network and the major news networks to see what their reporting is like. I believe that one gets the idea that a news organization lies based on personal bias and belief systems. No news organization is without bias, it is natural for people to have an opinion.
(FOX News doesn't tell flat-out lies? Sorry, but a major fact-checking organization disagrees with you. PunditFact, a fact-checking arm of the Tampa Bay Times, has compiled a list of 50 outright lies told by FOX News and its associates. I'm not allowed to post the link here (WHY NOT?), but if you go to Google and search with 'PunditFact 50 Fox News Lies', the first returned search result is the one you need.)
Fox News is the first news organization to implement a more conservative leaning perspective on topics of the day, which is completely against the mainstream media. So when people first watch it, it is like a foreign language to them. Many people are also surprised when they learn that our country is not a Democracy, but rather a Constitutional Republic. There is a difference and people think that I am lying when I tell them we are not a Democracy. Unfortunately, its simply the first time they have been told the real truth. Honest truth is sometimes the hardest pill to swallow when you've been spoon fed the opposite for so long. Left-leaning Liberal media bias can be traced back many decades, most especially during the Vietnam Conflict. And until Fox News appeared on the scene, all we knew was the left-leaning perspective from the major news networks. So it was shocking to people when they tuned up Fox News and heard another opinion. As time has gone on, the ratings of Fox News completely destroys the ratings of other networks because there is an alternative.
In watching Fox News, I know when I hear a line that is not completely true, or it is biased. But rest assured, it is not a flat out lie, it is just their interpretation. For everyone, perspective is reality, and the perspective of Fox News is indeed conservative. I enjoy that perspective more than the other networks, but I respect the opinion of others to watch whatever they want to watch. Thinking that Fox News tells lies is simply an opinion. I don't believe that CNN or MSNBC tells lies, I simply believe that they are telling a story that they believe to be true, even if it isn't.
Conservative politicians and Fox News themselves often talk about the "Mainstream Media" distorting facts withy a liberal bias. Being the largest news channel (by viewers) in the country, and on pretty much every basic cable package one can get, Fox News is very much part of the mainstream media. It falls completely in the conservative side of reporting, with even their more moderate shows still very right wing. Its heavy lean is why people sometimes consider them a "niche" media rather than mainstream.

I don't know. Please answer. I am an admirer of Martha M.
If you mean Alex Libby from "Bully", then no. He lives on Oklahoma and is popular with the High School kids there according to an interview he did on a morning talk show.
the media elites have deemed him dangerous to the their agenda. a message of freedom and ending endless wars was too much for the people that persuade us with propaganda they call 'news.'
Where Is Fox News Ansley Earhart From?
I don't know if she was born in Columbia, South Carolina, but I believe she grew up there. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
What political affiliation is Chris Wallace of Fox News?
Chris Wallace is a registered Democrat. See this piece: "Chris Wallace, Card-Carrying Democrat?" By Amy Argetsinger and Roxanne Roberts 10/11/2006. He appears to be Conservative.
How much do fox news 'contributors' get paid?
It varies. Some are paid per diem; in other words, they receive a flat fee, that might be as small as several hundred dollars. If they are a regular contributor with good ratings, the payment might run into the thousands of dollars. Other contributors (especially those who are new) do it for the free exposure: being a pundit on a network like Fox can lead to having one's own show, or to being asked to do other appearances where there will be some future payment.
Why has Shepard Smith been off the air lately?
Shepard Smith who appeared for many years on Fox News, took a hiatus from the show in order to get his injured shoulder fixed. He said he will be back but no set date has been announced.
What percentage of the News Viewers watch Fox News?
Although Fox News is generally the most-watched cable news network, it is difficult to answer this question, since TV ratings focus on "dayparts"-- hours in the day when people view their favorite programs, as well as the total number of viewers; the measurements also look at "demographics"-- the age groups that watch a certain program. Fox News is the clear leader for cable news viewing in total audience, often getting double the number of viewers of its nearest competitors, CNN and MSNBC. It should also be noted that the Fox audience skews older than the other networks-- the average viewer is over 65 years old. A typical Fox News hour can draw as many as 3 million viewers.
But if there is a major breaking story like an earthquake or a plane crash, the ratings show that large numbers turn to CNN, which takes the number one position during such times. It should also be noted that compared to the broadcast network newscasts (NBC Nightly News, for example), both Fox and CNN have much smaller audiences-- the average audience for the NBC Nightly News is 7.5 million viewers, for example. I enclose a link to a site that carries both broadcast news and cable TV ratings.
