What gcses do you need to be a primary school teacher?

Depends on where you live the requirements. In CA, for instance, you need 12 college units in child development, but other places may require more or less. When I ran a day care as a director I looked for people who had the units, but understood children as well. It is a hard job.

How many GCSES do you need for acting?

To do acting as a career you usually need 5 grades A-D or more. Expressive Arts subjects are usually preferred aswel such as Drama or Dance or Media. For most colleges, when it comes to acting, they usually look more for talent or experiences rather than grades. Most appreciate that although their students may not be highly academic they may have good creative ability. If you have a background in drama/theatre clubs then make it be known in your interview! When you apply for an acting course, you will usually submit your application and then be invited to attend an interview/audition. The interview is so they can get a better understanding of who you are (personality/behaviour) and the audition to judge your talent and suitability to the course. All in all, don't worry too much about your grades - if you achieve just average marks don't worry, just make sure you've got the talent and confidence to blow them away at your interview/audition!Good luck!Lizzy x

What gcses do you need to become a comedian?

English and whatever intrests' you, the employers' will generally look at sense of humour or other commited skills' and talents' towards the job of a comedian. It's not a very high paying job- If you look into; you have to be very good and specialize in either stand-up comedy or other. I'm not entirely sure though. I'm sure that you could achieve higher than a "comedian". The real joke right now is your question. ;A bum bum TIIIIIISH ; :/?

What gcse's do you need to be a marine boilogist?

You need Biology, but some schools say you also need Chemistry for the medical side. Basically all the Sciences would help, also English and Maths. Then any others you want to do that give you a back up plan if you don't get into Veterinary School. That way you will always be able to get a job.

Are gcse maths gcse english and gcse science the most important gcse subjects?

In short - Yes. Most people are aware that there are a number of "core" subjects which students need to study in order to gain good college and university places, and to succeed in the work place. Typically, GCSE English, GCSE Maths and the GCSE dual Science syllabus are the "big three" subjects in this respect, and most employers and further or higher education establishments stipulate grade C or above for GCSE Maths, GCSE English and GCSE dual science as the syllabus for each of these subjects is considered to teach students skills which are vital for all aspects of life. What gcses do you need to be a farmer?

You won't NEED 'em, but if you WANT to..

You don't NEED any courses to become any kind of farmer. In some cases, formal education will help. But there are many successful and brilliant farmers out there who've learned solely through experience. And, I've met a few farmers who think that just because they went to agriculture school, they know everything about everything...and they're usually not very good farmers at all.

Farming is still like an old-world craft, where you can learn everything you need to know by becoming an apprentice of someone who's doing what you want to do.

What you DO need is experience. So any course that offers hands-on experience is good (although there are many internships that will pay you to gain experience, and they won't charge tuition).

That being said, the kinds of courses that will help you as a farmer will depend heavily on what kind of farming you want to do:

*Organic farming - microbiology, ecology; courses that encourage a holistic view of natural systems (especially soils)

*Livestock (dairy, meat) farming - animal science courses, learn basic skills like artificial insemination, delivering a calf, putting an animal out of its misery, administering shots, clipping hooves, etc.; and courses about FENCING

*Conventional farming - agricultural economics, business, marketing, etc.; the chemistry of pesticides

*All farming - courses showing you how to safely operate and repair farm machinery

Hope this helps!

What percent do you need for an A in GCSE French?

A* - 85-90%+

A - 75-84% (usually, I've seen it be in the high 60s before)

B - 65-74%

C - 55-64% (Again, I've seen a C being 50%)

D - 45%-54%

I doubt I will have to go any lower, as you only asked for an A. Just remember these are a guideline. Your year could be amazing at french or they could be appalling.

Also it depends on your exam board but most will follow this type of format. The exam board I'm with has 60% coursework and 40% for the final exam so it really isn't that hard to get at least a B. Just remember to revise joining words such as "comme" because they make all the difference in translation.

What GCSEs do you need to become an architect?

Architecture is a very popular course so you'll need good results in maths, physics and art. Although universities mainly look at A-level results, you'll need on average a grade B in English and maths at GCSE.

My friend has been accepted by Glasgow university and she took, alonside maths, English and the sciences, art, history, french and business studies. At GCSE she got 6 A*s 3 A's and a B in Welsh.

For A-level she took maths, physics and art.
