Wolves are wild animals, and shepherds are domesticated. They can live happily and peacefully with humans and want to please them. Wolves are the opposite.

I have owned three different German sheperd females from puppy age on.

They typically stop getting bigger at approx. one-and-a-half years or so.

They are somewhat late at maturing emotionally as well, having gotten over most of their puppy-like quirks by about a year old.

If it is curled it is either a very badly bred dog with disqualifying factors or a mix. It should alwayscurve in a Sabre shape.

It depends on where you live. Dwyer's Dollhouse and Hallmark sell them. I live in New England, so where you live might not have these stores. You can also buy webkinz online, but if you do be careful. They might be used and ruined, with old pictures, and/or the tags may be off so you can't go online with them. Good luck getting one! :)

A pitbull was/is bred for fighting,have fighting abilities, offense and defense and knows how to kill a dog no matter the size. A cane corso may have been a fighting dog in the past but not bred for it. A 70lb. GAME pitbull would kill a 150lb. cane corso or have the cane corso disabled and ready to be killed within 10 minutes because of the GAME pitbull's instincts for fighting and their adrenaline rush allows them to ignore pain in a fight. If you put a bigger corso on the GAMEDOG the gamedog automatically knows how to control the action and stay out of trouble from being bit down. A pitbull knows where to bite(the muzzle or nose,the nuts or stifle) and have instinctual genetic fighting skills not to mention natural stamina, where as a cane corso being so large would get tired in 5-10minutes and aren't genetically bred to take bone crushing biting power like the Game bred APBT. It would be like Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs howard stern.

A vet will always check the dogs hips when in for their regularcheckup. The vet can tell. You will notice the dog is not walking or running the same. If it is bad the dog may loose it's balance when turning and struggle when getting in and out of a dog house steps etc. They will not be able to run as fast and may wine if in pain. I have had two dogs with it and they couldn't even get in my truck as it progressed.

They howl because they can't talk. Mine howls a lot. She howls to greet me when I come home. She howls when my other dog won't come inside, etc. I heard that in 1930's some of them were interbred with wolves so maybe that's a contributing factor.

That is not true. There is nothing stating that Jewish people will not own German Shepherds. As a matter of fact, many German Shepherd police dogs are trained in Israel and imported into other countries.
