No, in fact they are more active in the dark. Ghosts have been known to actually use the darkness in their advantage, causing an increase of fear in their witnesses. Most specters lurk in shadows, under beds, in dark closets, and just outside of windows at night. It is always a good idea to keep a night light on as ghosts are terrified of the brightness.

"ghosts" are definetly real, but they arent what most people think they are. The Bible tells us that the dead know nothing...that when we die, we go into a sleep like state and have no contact with the living world. This means that the "ghosts" we are seeing have to be something other than our dead friends and family coming back to visit. So when you think about it, what else could there possibly be? the answer is demons. be VERY careful if you ever have an unexplained experience because you are definetly dealing with evil. Even the Devil can quote scripture, and he will use it to try to make you believe something other than what God would have you believe.

the first thing that happens when a ghost is in your presence is that the temperature drops a great level and you get chilling goosebumps all over your arms, neck, and legs. then, a gust of wind flows through the area. in some cases, you might even see a dark shadow figure or small orb of light near you. if a ghost runs through your body, you may get dizzy and your eyesight goes fuzzy. you may even black out.

Who could ever say they saw the first ghost that was ever sighted, I suppose a lot of us would actually wonder if what you saw was infact a ghost or a figment of your imagination, if a ghost was ever first sighted you would probably have to go back to cavemen days, maybe he saw a ghost dinosaur!!

My family and I are not actually sure because sometimes weird things always happen. Like we have some toys that beep in a box in our office, whenever we walked by it there would be a beep and we didn't know what it was. sometimes I feel like there is something around me that i can't see and there are always weird sounds in the house but most of them are from outside or from my cat. One time we were sure that we opened a window and after a few mins. we came back and it was closed. A little while ago we were watching Paranormal state on TV and all of a sudden our house alarm armed itself. The only way you can arm it is by pushing buttons. But we have found possible explanations for these events so we really don't know whether or not we have ghosts.

A simple answer would be "Yes, ghosts make noises" .
These noises can be as simple as a knock on a wall, to a full spoken word.
However, most ghosts recreate their past experiences, which could involve noises of what they heard before they died.
For example; If a person died while on a ship, you may hear a horn, or you may hear the sound of waves crashing against the ship. You might even smell the ocean.
But if a person was involved in an unpleasant death, such as a murder, you may hear how the person died, for example, the crack of a gunshot.
You might even hear the person screaming and/ or experience visions of the event.

The ghosts I described above are what I call "Lost souls" , which repeat the event of how they died over and over again.
Some ghosts have the ability to freely roam the world, looking for their "unfinished business" .
Unfinished business could be something they forgot to do before they died, or something they were going to do.
These things could be something as simple as forgetting to take the garbage out at night, or something so complex like forgetting to say goodbye to your friend and/ or family.
Usually spirits who have unfinished business are looking for people who can help.
People such as Mediums, which have the ability to communicate with spirits.
The spirits would usually ask the mediums to do something for them, or to help the spirit in some way or form.
Spirits with unfinished business usually die in a way that is not to painful, or is quick. (Such as dying in your sleep)

There are also the "darker" spirits.
These spirits are people who have died in a horrific way, such as murder.
These spirits usually have unfinished business which involve "getting even" with another person.
The "darker" spirits are very commonly known as demons.
These spirits can also roam the world freely, and they may even have other abilities such as moving objects, which could lead into an injury to a human being.
Stay away from these spirits.
