you will need:

1 pair of real d 3d glasses, or real d glasses from the movie theater(if you dont have any just get some the next time you watch a movie)

masking tape, duckt tape, or any color tape you have besides clear.

1. poke out the lenses in the 3d glasses. it might be a little hard, but if you put pressure they will come out.

2.wrap the colored tape around the name of the product(example: if you have real d 3d glasses, it will say real d 3d somewhere on there. tape it around there and on the other side.)

than put some in the middle of where the lenses used to be.

3. put them on and you have nerd glasses!!!

(p.s: im wearing mine right now!)

Are contact lenses prescriptions different from glasses prescriptions?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No. Although contact lenses have the benefit of covering the entire field of view, and do away with the drawbacks of having a pair of glasses that can fall off, they also contribute in many ways to the development of eye diseases. Contact lenses, when improperly handled, can cause irreparable damage to the cornea.

How do bendable glasses work?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

When the light hits the lens of the eye glasses, it bends the light. This makes the light rays focus onto the retina (the back of the eye). Take a clear drinking glass and fill it half way. Put a pencil in the water. When you look at the pencil through the side of the glass, it will no longer look straight. When the light rays travel through the air then hit the water which is more dense the light rays are slowed down and then when the light rays exit the water they leave at a slightly different angle. When the lower part of the pencil is in the water it makes the pencil look fat.

How do you change the lens on Oakley Canteen sunglasses?

You need a T6 screw driver to remove the screw, once you do this it's simply just taking out and putting in the new lenses. Just be careful not to loose the rubber gasket that goes between the frame where you took the screw out.

Why do your eyes hurt while wearing glasses?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Perhaps the new glasses were not made correctly. And different materials can make a big difference in the ability to see. I dislike the polychromate materials, as they blur colors and really are difficult for me to use. Go back to the place you bought them and have them check to insure they were made properly and that they match the perscription.

How do glasses make you see?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Glasses don't make you see: they enable you to see better.

With defective eyes images of objects are focused at points which are in front of or behind the retina. This means that the image is not sharp. Lenses in glasses change the overall focal length of the eye+lens system so that the image is now focused on the retina and so provides a sharp image.
