Goof Off works well for this and does not affect modern car paint finishes. -I've tested it on 3 types of cars.

Epoxy or silicone glue will do it

You choose a polythene glue, or a PVC glue. Weld-On 711 works to a degree.

super glue works very very well on leather, just make sure you scuff the surface first to remove the color coating

Scrape it with a wooden spatula. If this fails use Goof Off on it.

As a very strong adhesive for 2 dissimilar surfaces. -ie, for plastic laminate to go on wood as in countertop.

If it's an actually an adhesive label then heat it with a hairdryer as you pull it. If just reside then use Goof Off.

This all depends on how "unlevel" it is. Assuming this humps or valleys are not larger then 1" in a 6' radius, than yes most definitely. You of course will still be able to feel this unlevel floor beneath you. The vinyl will only telegraph to the shape of the floor it sits on.

If the level issues are greater than this, you still may be able to install vinyl, but it would be hard to say for sure without having a professional looking at it.

Most people don't like them glued together, however it could be done with epoxy or possibly super glue.

Yes, there is a special linoleum sealant glue, meant for joins in lino, it will do very well in this case. I haven't bought it for some years now, but when I did, I got it from a lino supplier and it was in 'toothpaste' like tube for about $ 5-6 .

Contact adhesives must be applied to both surfaces and allowed some time to dry before the two surfaces are pushed together. Once the surfaces are pushed together, the bond forms instantly. It is usually not necessary to apply pressure for a long time, so there is no need to use clamps.

There are now many spray contact adhesives available.

Contact adhesive is very versatile and you can stick almost anything with it

Sometimes when you are working with, or around adhesives that have a strong odor or produce intense fumes, your taste buds will actually taste the particles in the air. This could also happen if you had contractors in your home that used these types of adhesives and last long after they have left. Best thing to do is to ventilate the area.

I am trying to glue a piece of vinyl wallboard paper over an existing vinyl wallboard to cover a damaged spot. Is there a specific kind of glue to use? I have tried 4 different glues and nothing is working. Do you have any tips for successfully completing this project?

You have to use glue of course and you need someone to hold it together while you glue it
