What material is pva glue used for?

Polyvinyl acetate, PVA, PVAc, poly(ethenyl ethanoate), is a rubbery synthetic polymer with the formula (C4H6O2)n. It belongs to the polyvinyl esters family with the general formula -[RCOOCHCH2]-. It is a type of thermoplastic.[1]

It should not be confused with the related polymer polyvinyl alcohol, which is called PVA also (PVAc could be considered a technically correct abbreviation for polyvinyl acetate and would aid in avoiding such confusion).

Polyvinyl acetate is a component of a widely-used type of glue, referred to variously as wood glue, white glue, carpenter's glue, school glue or PVA glue.

Polyvinyl acetate was discovered in Germany in 1912 by Dr. Fritz Klatte.[2]

The monomer, vinyl acetate, was on an industrial scale first produced by addition of acetic acid to acetylene with a mercury(I) salt[3] but it is now primarily made by palladium catalyzed oxidative addition of acetic acid to ethylene.
PVA glue is used for joining paper, card and wood.

How do you get hot glue out of glass vase?

I'm assuming your referring to the hot glue gun if so this is what to do: You could try using a blow dryer because I know that it works on wax. Basically you take a hair blow dryer (if you have one) , put on the highest and keep it in one spot for a like 15-30 seconds and then wipe it off. If that doesn't work just take a match, lite it, put it right next to the glue, and leave there for a few seconds then wipe it off.

How do you remove extension glue from your hair?

In the store you would buy hair glue/extentions, you can purchase a white coconut smelling hair glue remover. It will take out all the stickiness also. Its in a white bottle with a red lid.

I usually wash my hair, and scrub my head really really good with the shampoo and my fingers and pull out my extentions before rinsing the shampoo out, it will usually slide right out if you pull the extention out from the very bottom end of the hair rather than trying to pull it right off your scalp. You will lose way less hair.

To remove the glue left over, using the remover, get a comb and comb through and get all the big balls of glue out, then use a small tooth comb to get the small ones out.

Dont use baby oil, it doesnt work and it will just make your hair look oily for days.
