That is a long prossess first bock up the truck as high as u can get under pull the drive shafts unplug the electical to the trany pull off the vac line disconect the shifter by removing the bolt pry the shifter linkage apart on the transfere case pull the inspection cover off the bottom of the bell housing unbolt the torque converter mark it postion on the flywheel remove the rear mounting bolts jack up rear of trany unbolt the crossmember and remove leave tranny on jack for support remove bell housing bolts there are six remove cooler lines pull tranny back off the mounting studs and lower to the floor ur done

Behind the engine on the bellhousing, below the distributor. . . Complete pain to get to, you have to take the intake manifold off to effectively replace it.
