What is the cost of brain surgery?

Brain surgery is expensive but it depends on a lot of factors such as complications after surgery and how long your hospital stay is. I had brain surgery in November of 2006 but I had complications that left my left side weaker than my right and was required to have extensive therapy and over a month and half hospital stay. Over all, my bills have reached close to $750,000 or more. That is not including prescription costs since my surgery.

Huskies are friendly dogs that enjoy company. They are nice to other dogs and have no problems living with other animals. As with any dogs it will take a week or so for the dogs to fully trust each other. Can a golden retriever fight off a Doberman?

The best answer is it depends on several things.

If the dogs are friendly familiar with each other, then yes.

If the dogs make up the same pack (family), then probably.

If so, then it depends on the standing of the one approaching the other.

If the dogs are strangers, not likely, but it depends on how their alphas react.

If strangers, then it depends on whose territory is being invaded.

There are other potential scenarios, but these suffice to explain.

Here's the thing, every dog is different. There are some generalities that can be made regarding specific breeds, but these are only potentials at best. For instance:

Dobermans:

Intelligent

Generally territorial

Generally protective

Generally aggressive

Somewhat skittish/shy (but will more often react aggressively)

Retrievers:

Intelligent

Generally territorial

Very protective (especially of smaller children in their family/pack)

Generally mild tempered

Generally shy/submissive

Here's where the difference matters. If a Dobie and a retriever were to encounter each other, likely as not they would warn each other off with growls and lowered tails. They might circle each other with raised hackles and lowered ears. But, the Dobie is more likely to attack. Between the two though, if either is in protective mode, from personal observation, the Dobie is more likely to retreat/give ground if hurt. Most retrievers will defend their charges to the death. The Dobie might come back, but being more skittish, it is more likely to retreat than to stand and die.

The only reason for one dog to invade the territory of another though are all biological or genetic in nature.

  • Seeking food or water
  • Seeking shelter
  • Seeking a mate
  • Seeking acceptance
  • Seeking approval of pack authority (Alpha, Beta, etc.), and this is more specific to human/canine interactions.

So, don't anthropomorphize it any more than it already is.

Is a Doberman or a golden retriever stronger?

I'm sorry.....but if Huskies are your favorite dog.I have to say Dobermans are strong and muscular. They'll start a fight whenever. That's why some people are afraid of them.Except me.Huskies are strong and mostly lovable. They don't really start fights & people AREN'T afraid of them. So, if you owned a Husky & your Doberman started a fight with your Husky.Your Husky would loose. He would be screaming and crying in pain. But,the pain would go away soon.I would feel bad if that happened but I'm just telling you the answer.So,yes.Dobermans ARE stronger than Huskies.
