Males dogs can be more territorial and sometimes aggressive, but there are some fine and gentle male dogs out there. I prefer female dogs because they seem to have a more nurturing side to them. The dog being spoiled isn't helping the disabled person. If the dog has bad habits they could easily accidentally trip the disabled person. Any dog should listen to commands. Play with each one and go down your checklist. If they tug at your heart, and they are putting off good checklist signs, then you know the right one, male or female. Depending on the owner's disabilty, it would be a good idea for the dog to go through some professional training. If it all possible, it would be preferable for the future owner to attend some of the training as well.

I have an 11yr old female doing the same thing. She has been retching for about 3 weeks and never before. I took her to the vet had xrays, blood and urine test with no results. Everything looked normal. I have been searching the internet but have not found any real information as to what may be causing it. It really worries me, she sounds like she is going to vomit up her insides. Hope you find some help.

It depends. A "Golden Lab" is actually a mix between a goldren retreiver and a labrador retreiver. Prices for them can vary, as anything, but between 400-600 is average. As far as "Yellow Lab", which is a labrador retreiver, that dog is a pure bread and could go for 400-800.

I would recommend going on petfinder.com It has dogs all over the country, including puppies!, that need good homes. We are in the process of getting a golden/lab mix 8 week-old puppy from there for $400 in adoption fees - definitely worth it! Good luck!

- their super sweet

- if your a hunted they are exelent at that

-every golden retriver that iv seen is really good around kids

-their good around other animals

- they are really smart. ( Mine learnt how to open the door to let him self out)
