How much does a female golden lab puppy cost?

It depends. A "Golden Lab" is actually a mix between a goldren retreiver and a labrador retreiver. Prices for them can vary, as anything, but between 400-600 is average. As far as "Yellow Lab", which is a labrador retreiver, that dog is a pure bread and could go for 400-800.

I would recommend going on petfinder.com It has dogs all over the country, including puppies!, that need good homes. We are in the process of getting a golden/lab mix 8 week-old puppy from there for $400 in adoption fees - definitely worth it! Good luck!

Any good, respectable Golden Retriever (or any, for that matter) breeder would not breed their animals with a Husky.

Thoughts like these are what causes the overpopulation problem, love. Hundreds of thousands of animals are abused and put to death due to careless owners and backyard breeders who merely want "cute puppies."

You have a 7 month old golden retriever Is it advisable to spay her before her first heat?

No, you should wait until at least 3 weeks AFTER her first heat (though two heats are preferred before considering spaying). Bitches spayed too early may be far more interesting to intact males; unwanted male attention may cause the female to become aggressive and protective of this attention in adulthood. Also dogs who are spayed or neutered too early tend to have puppy like behavior as adults. Because early neutering removes sex hormones, this delays maturation of "osteoclasts" resulting in delayed closing of the growth plates of the long leg bones, thereby increasing the risk of numerous orthopaedic disorders such as cruciate ligament disease and possibly bone cancer.

It can also significantly increase the risk of urinary incontinence. Early neutering also increases risk of urethral sphincter incontinence in males. Therefore I recommend spaying females 3 weeks after their second heat, and neutering males between the age of 16-18 months.

Is a beagle more popular than a golden retriever?

i personally like both of them a beagle is a hound so it would sniff out everything and a golden retriever is an active dog breed. they are both great family dogs and love children. golden retrievers are really easy to train and beagles, not so much. beagles are better for hunting families and golden retrievers are best all around

What is the cause of frequent swelling around the nose and mouth of a golden retriever?

This could be due to allergies, either environmental or foods. Your vet can do allergy testing to determine if it is allergies, and what she is allergic to. The allergy tests are not very expensive, so I strongly suggest you have this done.

She needs to be examained by a vet in order to accurately diagnose and treat her.
