I have never seen one sketched out like an architectural blueprint, but in the book, M. Mitchell describes how the downstairs rooms ebbed and flowed into each other.

There was no floor plan because Tara was just a facade, not a real or whole house in the movie.

Nope this can't be. Because she was only 16 when the war Started in 1861, so that would have to have her being born in the year 1845.

Also April 23 has got to be wrong, as well, because The barbeque at the Wilks' Plantation took place the day before Ft Sumter was fired upon, and that was on April 12, 1861...So that would have made Scarlett just shy of 16, but Ms Mitchell says she was already 16.

Note: The Barbeque at the Wilkes' Plantation did not take place the day before Ft. Sumter was fired on. In the meeting the men have, they specifically mention the firing on Ft. Sumter and Charles Hamilton mentions to Scarlett that Lincoln has called to arms the Union which occurred on April 15, 1861, three days after the firing on Ft. Sumter. Also, the news of Lincoln's call to arms would have taken days if not weeks to reach Georgia let alone the Wilkes plantation. Georgia succeeded on January 19, 1861.

the book and the movie are set in 1860-1865 this was a time in the USA when slavery was in full swing, so this now depends on the reader/ movie goer, it is a story of the way the South was in those days, so many people would say it is racist , the same way "Showboat" was in its hayday.

Aunt Pittypat was played by Laura Hope Crews.

Gino Corrado appeared in Gone with the Wind (1939), was "Gino" in Citizen Kane (1941) and a waiter at Rick's in Casablanca (1942).
