NO! Even a cheetah, in a controlled environment, could do no better then 45 mph, but I do believe it can run faster than that. Greyhound maxes out at 45 mph.
Look up Greyhound (Grayhound) and then try "Stocks (trading/market)"
Greyhound tracks in the United States are uniformly a quarter of a mile in circumverance.
The most common race distance is 5/16 mile. This starts down in a chute that extends beyond the start of the home stretch.
The next most common distance is 3/8 (6/16th) of a mile. This starts near the far turn on the backstretch.
Other common distances are 7/16th and 3/16th, both of which start near the head of the backstretch.
Rarely, a 9/16 distance race is run, sometimes known as a "Super Marathon". It begins in the same place as the 5/16 race does, and the greyhounds make two full circuits.
11 was is a greyhound. 12 is 12 (one too). 1111 (11 won one) race. 22112 (22 won one too)
Thee is nothing wrong with the word greyhounds. I don't know why you think that. It is the name of a kind of dog. I have an Italian greyhound.

Yes, in normal circumstances.
Because of it's "small dog" advantages when accelerating, the whippet is probably faster over very short distances (e. g. up to 50 yards) from a standing start.
