How many guppies can you put in a 10gallon fish tank?

Answer

Well, I am a trained guppy professional and i will tell you what you need to know. First you should start out with 30 guppies and decide if you like to have that much. Second, you kill them and wonder what you have done wrong..... but you will still have a little left over. Then you overlook all the guppies and choose 2. You then separate your 2 best fish from the other 27 and put them in a bag full of water(separate). Sell your guppies for 50 cents each and then you will have some money. Now you got your 2 best fish left, mate them and you will have about 30 guppies, start the process all over again. YOU WILL GAIN A LOT OF MONEY DOING SO....... TRUST ME

What if your pregnant guppy is laying on the gravel on the bottom of the tank what is she doing?

If she suddenly dashes from the bottom to another place, and then drops back to the bottom of the tank, and continues to dash from place to place, in all probability she is giving birth.

Are guppies endangered?

Goldfish are very delicate and often cannot survive in the wild, but they are not endangered. Since Goldfish do not appear in the wild naturally and are a result of selective breeding, there is currently a good supply of Goldfish. Goldfish breeding is an industry itself that regularly produces rare and expensive fish.

If Goldfish breeding were to stop, however, Goldfish would maybe become endangered. They would not die out completely but they would not be goldfish as we know them. After a few generations in the wild, goldfish revert back to their dark greenish brown scale color and begin to resemble the less delicate carp that are more fitted to survive. Some less durable types of goldfish would die out completely.

Rest assured, our favorite fish is nowhere near endangered. It simply needs constant care and attention to stay that way.

Do male guppies follow the female guppy when she is pregnant?

Absolutely you have to give the fry a place to escape their hungry parents. The Male and Female eat just about all of the fry in a few days. Occassionally one will survive and become an adult. It is recommended to have a divider with holes small enough for the fry to cross over and escape.

How many babies can a guppie have?

They can have up to 30-50 fish, but mine only had one? Can anyone explain that?

5 gallon fish tank with 5 white clouds and 3 guppies you change water 20 percent per day is this ok?

No. This is overcrowded and you change the water every day? That will stress the fish out and the constant change of chemicals and temperature can harm the fish. Please do not continue this. When a few die do not get more. I suggest change the water once every 1-2 weeks. Whatever you do, do not continue this.

You should consider getting at least a 20 gallon tank, or re-homing some of the fish to avoid overcrowding your fish.

How do you tell the difference between a male and female baby guppie?

Male guppies are colorful and females are not. They are usually white or clear in color.

When fish get pregnant does a black spots?
