I can not describe how much better it is. The graphics are amazing on campaign and on xbox live. The story line is a see it to believe it kinda thing. If you love the games you don't want to miss the conclusion to such an great story. If you don't have xbox live with this game you are missing out on almost 80% of the content. Most of the new features, such as the ranking system and the ability to make your OWN maps, are also on live. You can also make make maps for LAN play also. Edit: you play as nobel 6 through the campaign but you can play as an elite firefight and you can change your spartanse voice in the upgrade your armor section the voice willonly change while playing firefight.

Because you don't have a mic or you have the mic turned off. If you have an XBOX 360 there is a wire on your mic that connects to your controller. There should be a switch and if it's red or orange it's off. If you switch it the other way it's on.

When inserting the disk and the screen is showing your Xbox Dashboard the game will start with the triangular blue loading screen, when starting a game at the main menu screen it will say : resume/start campaign OR MAIN MENU
Go to the main menu screen on this screen you will see subtitles: Matchmaking, Firefight, Campaign or Custom match
At this point on the right hand side of your screen Should state wheather or not you have an active account signed in
If so your child's profile name will appear with a colour boarding it here
If it does not show any profile is logged/ signed in then press the center xbox button to bring up your menu screen ( the circular button in the center of the controller) and press sign in
At this point you can turn on your second controller and do the same thing, when both account are signed in on the right hand side of the screen will have 2 different names
With both accounts logged in you can now select: custom game, firefight or campaign
