What does it mean when you found blood in your girl hamsters bedding?

She might have an infection and need to see a vet. I have a hamster who did that, then did it again two weeks later, we did not take her to the vet, and she is still fine. We have not seen her bleed again. It might be an infection, or she might be longing for a mate.

Your dwarf hamster has a growth about the size of a nickel round on one side of it's belly what is it and how can you treat it?

Sorry, for the bad news. I had to go through this too. It is a tumour. It may be possible to treat by a vetrenarian. The growth can be removed but it may cost you up to $300 (not including visit fee $40-95) and even then it is not guarenteed that the hamster will survive. Your hamster could die the next day. My advice is to think about this long and hard. Its a risk to take if you really love your hamster.

Yes, it matters if your Russian Dwarf hamster has long nails since it gets dirty, can break and even hurt your hamster. If you want, you should go to the vet and get your hamster's nails trimmed. If you cant afford to pay for the vet, since vets cost a lot of money, get a nail clipper made for small animals and then cut your hamster's nails. But, you should ask a professional first.

What foods should you avoid when you have bad cholesterol?

Foods high in saturated fat, trans-fats and cholesterol. Red meat (and yes, pork is a red meat), fried foods, butter, margarine, cream cheese, sour cream, fat-laden cheese and other fat-laden dairy products all tend to be high in the following substances.

Hydrogenated oils (containing trans-fats) can show up in pretty much any processed food, french fries, packaged cookies and snack foods, processed breads, donuts and the like. Read the ingredients label of any packaged food before you purchase it- anything listing a "hydrogenated" or "partially-hydrogenated" oil contains trans-fats-- though the FDA will allow such products containing up to .5 grams of trans-fats to list it as "0 grams". When eating out, assume the worst- any fried food, any donut, any bread contains hydrogenated oils unless you find otherwise. It's probably best to skip fast food altogether anyways if you're looking to improve your health.

Whole eggs are also high in cholesterol, and should be consumed in moderation. While a single egg a day (containing 70% of a day's cholesterol) might not significantly impact cholesterol levels, it's very easy to end up consuming 3 to 4 in a dish of scrambled eggs or other foods- and consuming almost three times your daily value in cholesterol is not going to be helpful.

Instead, choose a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and good fats. Get your protein from fish, soy, non-fat dairy, and other lean meats (such as skinless chicken and turkey). Switch to oils high in monounsaturated fats such as olive or canola oil. Also try to consume plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, either from fish or from a supplement. Aim for at least 1 gram of omega-3s a day from DHA and EPA (the types of omega 3s found in fish). 3 grams of fish oil (3 standard capsules) should be enough to help you reach your target. Regular cardiovascular exercise can also help to improve your cholesterol levels.

It depends on where you are going. But usually, yes. The hamster may have a disease that people won't want going cross country, it is part of protecting the habitat of countries. Even if is very unlikely the hamster has a disease, if it is expected that it has then tests may be run on the hamster to make sure it is healthy and can pass across. People may be suspicious though if you are taking your hamster on a holiday, but if you are moving, then of course the hamster would come with you.

How do you just bath a hamster's eye with warm water?

If you are just bathing your hamster then make sure it's not to hot or to cold and make sure it's not to high. You must bath it in a sink. Also when you remove your hamster from the sink make sure you dry it well else it might catch a cold.

Now you are asking how to bath a hamster's eyes. First you get a bowl and put in warm water add a little salt, but not loads else you can blind your hamster. After that you get a cotton wall bud or ball. As long as your gentle it can be ever but if you are worried then use a cotton ball. Then hold your hamster. Maybe someone else could hold it if it's easier. Gently go under its eye slowly about 5 times. That should do. If you fell it needs doing more then maybe you should think about doing it once every week until it looks better.
