But if you are planning on buying a guinea pig at a pet store like , PetSmart, if you had about 35$ you should be able to buy one considering their prices are usually in the late 20's (without tax) for guinea pig's.

But if you buy a guinea pig from a person selling them it could be any price.

Well you can try to find a way to scold your hamster. When you let it out of the cage and it runs away, scold it. If it doesn't run away praise it. You should do this everyday until it learns.

I don't think because i make a lot of noises when my fancy hamster is sleeping and all he does is satnd his head up with his eyes close i think they need to get used to it or they are if you got him from a pet store so it is ok.

Our hamster has started biting also after almost 2 weeks of perfect behavior. My 6 year old is in tears. But I think it may be hormonal. She (the hamster) is probably going through puberty and from what I have read they can have false pregnancies that last for 10 -15 days. What I am wondering is since they are fertile every 10 days and can have false pregnancies that last about that long also, when will she ever be sweet again? Can somebody shed some light on this problem?
