Who manufacture the 3d TV?

All the major TV manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Sharp, Vizio, and many others. It has been almost 2 years since they started manufacturing the 3D TV. So most of the high-end or up to dated HDTVS include 3D as a basic feature in their TVs. Nowadays, It's almost impossible to find a TV without 3D or web browsing features. Beside, there is a new 3D technology which came out this year called passive 3D so the 3D TVs will become even more popular within few years. I read the article about Media Services conducting the survey that says it "shows that 3D is becoming a predominant mode of production, with nearly half of respondents indicating their business will focus on 3D film and television production in the next five years.."

Can you connect your Blu-ray Disc or HD DVD to your standard regular tv?

That is not possible since HD-players use HDMI for connecting to the television. It wouldn't be very useful to connect HD-players to SDTV's, because that way the player has no advantage over a standard DVD player.

What will a picture look like on an High Def TV with out High Def signal?

The bottom line on the quallity of your picture is the quality of your input signal. A clear, noiseless, high quality non HD input to a HD TV will look great. (There have been studies which show that non-expert viewers will not readily be able to distinguish high-quality non-HD signals from HD signals).

A pasty, lossy, low-quality signal will look terrible whether it is HD or non HD (it may even look worse in HD).

A HD TV will usually give you a better picture - whatever the quality of your input signal. But the better your input signal - the more improvement you will see.

Why vhf is used for tv signals?

Hi,

VHF was used because primarily, that was the highest frequencies that transmitters could be manufactured for at the time TV came into existence. Since then, technoligies have improved and we've gone way, way beyond

the limitations of VHF.

The interesting thing is that as of February 17, 2009, ALL of the VHF TV transmitters will have been shut off (By order of Congress) and TV will have moved as an industry into all digital transmissions and HDTV. If you have an older set that's not digital ready, it'll no longer receive anything off the air.

On the same token if you have a cable or satellite box currently working on your TV, you shouldn't experience any change in services.

Hope this helps,

Can you play Blu-ray on wii system?

A Wii uses DVD drives and outputs only standard definition video so it won't handle Bluray discs at all. Although the Wii has been available for a number of years, there are no published plans to develop and HD version of the console at the time of writing (2010).

No doubt the will be an HD version in the future but as the Wii has found its niche in family entertainment and fun games, video quality is not a big concern for most users.

What does viewing angle mean in terms of 3D TV?

Viewing angle refers to the angle from which you're watching the image on screen. Viewing angle is pretty important when watching 3D TVs because images can be distorted or blurry if you're not watching them from the right angle. This is pretty annoying because it means that you have to sit up straight in a rigid position and stay that way through the entire movie to get the best image. Wide viewing angle gives you nice clear images even if you are leaning back or watching the screen from the side. The wider the viewing angle, the more flexible you can be with your watching positoin and the number of people who can watch the TV and still get the best image. What I mean by this is that you can have a whole bunch of friends sitting side by side and everyone will get really good 3D images.

What was the insignia of the 504th PID 82nd Airborne?

The "unofficial" patch of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment was a white circle with a blue border. Within the circle, in the background, a deployed parachute. In the foreground is a side profile of the devil, in red. In his right hand there is a red pitch fork. The devil's left hand is open, with his thumb touching the tip of his nose. Obviously he is expressing his opinion of the enemy. Richard V. Horrell WW 2 Connections.com

How do you fix a broken LCD screen?

You can't actually "repair" a nick on an LCD screen. However, there are methods you can use to diminish the visibility of the nick. The effectiveness of these methods depends on the severity of the nick:

1 - Apply a small amount of Vaseline with a soft cloth or Q-tip. Wait about 10 minutes, and then remove any excess. This will fill in the nick and make it less noticeable. This is a temporary fix, and you will need to reapply the Vaseline each time you clean the screen.

2 - Rub the area of the nick VERY gently with a clean white eraser. This will also serve to fill in the nick and make it less noticeable. Do not press hard or apply excess pressure to the nick, or your may expand it and make it worse.

3 - Rub the area of the nick (again, VERY gently) with a solution of isopropyl rubbing alcohol and water. Start with a 3.5% solution (one capful of alcohol to 1/2 cup of water). You can increase the strength to up to 35%, but any stronger, and you may damage your screen. The alcohol acts to dissolve the anti-scratch coating around the nick so that it fills in. Again, this is a tricky process, so proceed at your own risk.

Personally, the Vaseline trick seems to have worked for me. Although it didn't completely cover the nick, it reduced the visibility by about 50-75% (which is better than nothing). As I usually sit about 8-10 feet away from the TV, I could really tell the difference.

While there is no way to actually repair a nick (aside from replacing the entire screen, which may cost as much as a new set), you can reduce it to where you can live with it.
