There are many things that can cause a headache for over a week. I'm actually going through it right now. I've been to the doctor 2 but I've just been given paracetamol (500mg) and ibuprofen (200mg) this doesn't work, my advice is that you should try taking them both together 3 times a day every 4 hours, it hasn't worked for me, but I'm going for some tests, keep you updated, hope this helped.:-)

Well sit down and DRINK. Put a SWEATER on and EAT something not too salty, but high in protein like nuts, or if you eat cheese or meat DRINK more. I'm not being silly, MEDITATE! Focus on your breathing for 1 minute, and don't think just about when is this going to be over? If there's noise in the background move to a quiet place. White sound can cause high blood pressure, stress related diseases, and MIGRAINES. Do some LIGHT EXERCISE, stop if it worsens. Take your TEMPERATURE. IF and only IF all else fails take some tylonal and CALL YOUR DOCTOR! Seriously!

To get rid of a headache,you must get a 15 minute nap with your head on a soft pillow/cushion,and also drink water,apple juice orange juice,etc,something healthy to drink.and after your nap just keep your head on the pillow for about 5 mins.for back pain,you must get some lotion(anykind)and let someone rub it on you.and get a nice hot bath(not real hot:and a bath not shower)because hot water relaxes your bones.stay in their 4 about 15-20 mins or more.then go rest your back on something soft,bed/cushion.for a stomach ache you should drink coke or pepsi(coke works better)because i had a really bad stomach pain,my dad gave me coke then BAM good as new,then you should lie down 4 about 10 mins then you can get up,need more advice, send me a message on youtube,VirginiaCowGirl333

Go fishing! The fish love gnats. Unfortunately, they are pesky little things. The best thing to do is get "bug zappers" and wear bug screen. There isn't much else you can do. There is just one other thing (after putting up a bug zapper) is to have a fan in the room blowing on medium. Bugs don't like a strong breeze. Good luck Marcy

Yes, it can keep your body busy on curing the sore throat instead of having to be doing other activities that use up energy and nutrients at the same time.

The ONLY thing I can think of that would do this, is a neuroma (small benign tumor of a nerve brnach --or a "trigger point"--somewhere in the area of your larynx.

I've seen something like this in folks with "Occipital neruitis" , whick is where a nerve comes out from your skull roughly 1/2 way between your spine and left ear...

Look at it this way... Nerves leave a central point and fan out just like the branches of a tree. If you stimulate one of the nerve fibers ("branch") it will cause a retrograde (backward) discharge if the nerve which stimulates another branch of that same nerve group, making it feel like the pain is arizing from the second branch... Nerve fibers are merely like electrical wires in your house... They are either "off" (no shooting pain) [or touch, coldness, heat, etc] or they are "on" ( shooting pain, etc...

It sounds like something iws causing the occipital nerve at the base of your skull to discharge, making you feel the pain shoot fowward over your scalp towards the front of your head on that side.

If you can find a place where pressing on it will cause the symptoms you've described, a neurologist can inject that "trigger point", thereby (most likely) fixing your problem...

the best way for that condition is to seek for a medical professional help.

because if you will just let that happen for your daughter everyday you might not know it's a condition that needs a proper medication. but usually if your daughter loves to read and watch tv in the dark that are some possibilities why she's experiencing that and needed to have eyeglasses.

you might have allodynia.

I would say it is either a pimple or an acne related cyst. It is just a build up of oil. If it is growing that fast it is not something bad.

Get someone to look at it - does it have a head like a pimple or a blackhead? It may be possible to pop it and relieve the swelling.

Otherwise just wait and it should go away within a week.

This could be a abses inside of your ear. You will need to see your doctor.

i know this may sound stupid because i a only 16 and i am not a doctor but i have a lump behind my right ear. it does not hurt at all but the thing that is bugging me is my whisnom teeth are coming through the now and i have read on many other sites just like this one that it could be to do with whisnom teeth coming through but i have an appointment with the doctor anyway to make sure it ain't anything series goodluck to you all and god bless

This sounds like a swollen lymph node, but if you are concerned or it lasts a long time you should seek the advice of your physician.

It simply mean that you do not sleep properly or for enough time(8 hour). You maY HAVE FEVER.

It is a suggestion that do not use pillow for test and if you get releafe then continue this.
