Well all the symptoms that you have described seem to point typical sinus problems and even a sinus infection.
Pressure in the head can be due to congested sinuses. When your sinuses become congested they build up pressure in the head and this in turn also results in your body draining mucus down the back of the throat (this condition is known as post nasal drip). When your mucus is infected and it is drained down the back of the throat it ussually leads to a sore throat/ throat infection. The pain in the ears is also as a result of the congestion, because your ears are connected to your sinuses throuth the eustachian tube. When the sinuses become congested we ofte nfind that our ears feel blocked. When there is a sinus infection we may even get earaches.

If you want to stop a headache that seems worse than normal, take liquid medicine. Next, get into a room with no sunlight. (Sunlight bothers my headaches!) But before you lay down, make sure the room is silent and steady. Get a cold wet washrag or a icey fresh glass of water. Lay down, try to sleep, keep the rag on your forehead, drink your water, and that should solve it within 30 min. Try it! At least it always works on me! ^^

my daughter, at 13 years old had cavernous angioma and had it removed by surgery. A year later , she has been experiencing headaches and sensations in her head that are scaring her. It may be possible that your astigmatism is not very severe, so that you are unconsciously compensating for it, with eyestrain and headache as a result. Sounds like something worth following up on, since you may need just a pair of glasses rather than something invasive or pharmaceutical. It's not likely it's a tumor, as those typically grow in the brain, not directly under the skin. However, you should consult a doctor to determine how serious the growth is.
