Can you die from headaches?

Not necessarily the headaches themselves, but if the thing that caused the headaches is serious it could kill you, and there is a special type of headache that is so bad that some people have been known to kill themselves over it, though that is not exactly being the headache.

TL;DR: Headaches cannot kill you.

I get headaches while I am sleeping what is causing this?

If they are really, really really bad and occur at regular intervals, starting about 90 minutes after going to sleep, you could be talking about cluster headaches. Use that term to search using Google and see if the symptoms you find match yours. You could also be experiencing TMJ problems, which is where the jawbone joint is connected to the skull. Quite often, when we sleep, we tend to clench or grind our teeth, which can cause these types of headaches, some of which can get pretty severe. There are treatments for this, the most common and least invasive is to have your dentist make an appliance for you to wear when you sleep. It prevents you from clenching or grinding your teeth, and also helps to keep the jaw in more proper alignment, thus giving tremendous relief. The appliance is actually comfortable, so don't let the 'image' of it keep you from talking to your dentist about having one made for you.

If you got off the depo shot and have been spotting and have very little bleeding and some cramps and headaches could you be pregnant?

When I first got off the shot I was spotting for several months, had cramps, but I was not pregnant. Normally when you first get off depo, it may take a while for it to completely be out of your body. And it still make take awhile for you to be able to get pregnant.

What is wrong if you're 20 years old and have constant numbness on the top of your head and can feel the top of your head pulsing?

It would be wrong to diagnose you here, but it sounds like a nerve problem. You should visit a Chiropractor, they specialize in spinal/nervous system and you may see some amazing results - I have worked for one and visited one for more than 10 years and see miracle cases all the time (it makes miracles seem common). The problem you are describing may have a lot to do with your neck being subluxated. Any problem in your neck will cause problems from the neck to the top of your head (headaches, vision problems, ear, nose, throat, ect). Find a good Chiropractor as soon as possible. A medical doctor will be tempted to do surgery to fix your problem or medicate you, try Chiropractic first. They will refer you out if it is not something they can help.

Can you take NyQuil with excedrine migrane?

No. You absolutely positively cannot take both NyQuil and Excedrin of any kind together. They both contain high levels of acetaminophen, which, if overdosed on, could hospitalize you. Excedrin also has aspirin. Whether or not you can take them over so many hours apart, however, is a question to ask.

What would cause a temporary headache throbbing that goes away in about 30 minutes?

A temporary headache could be caused by straining your eyes for too long. Taking a break from staring at the computer or television frequently will help to prevent these headaches.

You had a sharp pain in the back of your head followed by a terrible migrane It is still a dull headache 2 days later Is everything okay?

The same exact thing has happened to me. You and both know why and when you are getting the headache and my advice is simple. Stop for a week and start back up again. It needs a little rest or it will get worse and worse.

What conditions cause flushing headaches eye pain vision changes nausea vomiting depression anxiety neck pain achy joints and muscles photophobia tingling malaise?

This list of symptoms is fairly vague and could be the result of a long list of diseases and/or disorders. Some are serious, others are not. Diagnosis by a qualified physician is vital toward getting good care for these symptoms, but is not possible without a thorough history etc.

Possible systems to be examined include:

  • Endocrine system
  • CNS
  • Immune system
  • Musculo-skeletal system
  • Gastro-intestinal system

Thyroid dysfunction, autoimmunity, Lyme Disease or even fibromyalgia may cause or trigger these symptoms. This however is barely the beginning of a list of possibilities. Please seek the help of a qualified physician as soon as you are able. If you think your condition is a headache disorder, seek the help of a board certified headache specialist.

This condition Is caused by medical neglect. I feel safe to say so because I suffer from it myself. My pain started in my early 50's and it has only gotten worse and more widespread. I have been diagnosed by old farts as having 'stiff old lady syndrome' and the list goes on. Basically they tell me I'm old so, why don't you just roll over and die! These are all men who are at least 20 years older than me and have to be woken up from their naps when I come in for my appointments! I am a person who eats healthy and gets lots of exercise. I climb mountains and do extreme hikes, I live to move. Most of my troubles were caused by the medical profession which would be a story in itself. Today I'm sitting down and I can't even walk anymore. My one area of pain has now taken over my whole spine, my neck, my head, my middle back, my lower back and my right hip. I have been walking in pain for years but my legs always worked. This last week, I can't walk anymore because my lower back hurts too bad and my right hip seizes up on me. I don't go and see my 'doctor' because he's a 10 minutes and you're out guy and he just keeps telling me I'm old! This guy is at least 20 years older than me and in much worse shape! Non of my friends and/or family who are around my age have this kind of crippling pain and discomfort! So, that's why I say........ medical incompetence! Argh!!!!!

Had tkr took 4 amox 500 mg before dentist appt and 4 250 mg erythromycin same day because of bacteria infection Can this cause a headache?

This could cause a headache. A more likely reason for a headache is that you just had your teeth worked on! How long did you sit in the chair with your head at an odd angle and your mouth open? People always want to blame their medicine for anything they might be feeling - sometimes it's not the medicine.

Can you pull a semi flatbed trailer without a headache rack?

depends on the state in which you operate and also the freight. CA no rack needed, AZ rack required unless hauling shippping containers or large crated items. diferrent laws for each state, that's why all over the road trucks have them on but some local or short haul trucks do not. Most likely a good idea anyway from a safety stand point, never know when a four wheeler might jump 3 lanes for an exit, you don't need that freight smacking in the head hence the word headache rack.
