Not necessarily the headaches themselves, but if the thing that caused the headaches is serious it could kill you, and there is a special type of headache that is so bad that some people have been known to kill themselves over it, though that is not exactly being the headache.

It would be wrong to diagnose you here, but it sounds like a nerve problem. You should visit a Chiropractor, they specialize in spinal/nervous system and you may see some amazing results - I have worked for one and visited one for more than 10 years and see miracle cases all the time (it makes miracles seem common). The problem you are describing may have a lot to do with your neck being subluxated. Any problem in your neck will cause problems from the neck to the top of your head (headaches, vision problems, ear, nose, throat, ect). Find a good Chiropractor as soon as possible. A medical doctor will be tempted to do surgery to fix your problem or medicate you, try Chiropractic first. They will refer you out if it is not something they can help.

This condition Is caused by medical neglect. I feel safe to say so because I suffer from it myself. My pain started in my early 50's and it has only gotten worse and more widespread. I have been diagnosed by old farts as having 'stiff old lady syndrome' and the list goes on. Basically they tell me I'm old so, why don't you just roll over and die! These are all men who are at least 20 years older than me and have to be woken up from their naps when I come in for my appointments! I am a person who eats healthy and gets lots of exercise. I climb mountains and do extreme hikes, I live to move. Most of my troubles were caused by the medical profession which would be a story in itself. Today I'm sitting down and I can't even walk anymore. My one area of pain has now taken over my whole spine, my neck, my head, my middle back, my lower back and my right hip. I have been walking in pain for years but my legs always worked. This last week, I can't walk anymore because my lower back hurts too bad and my right hip seizes up on me. I don't go and see my 'doctor' because he's a 10 minutes and you're out guy and he just keeps telling me I'm old! This guy is at least 20 years older than me and in much worse shape! This could cause a headache. A more likely reason for a headache is that you just had your teeth worked on! How long did you sit in the chair with your head at an odd angle and your mouth open? People always want to blame their medicine for anything they might be feeling - sometimes it's not the medicine.

You should talk to your doctor about the headaches sooner rather than later. The longer you are on cymbalta the harsher the withdrawal symptoms from it can be. But cymbalta is known to cause headaches
