Metal fans can count, but metal albums vary immensely in length. I have some albums that last barely half an hour, and others that don't fit onto a CD. It depends on the band. Doom metal, power metal, prog metal tend to be longer. Anything with -core in the genre name, thrash and speed metal tend to be shorter. Classic metal tends to be in between.
