Can you put a rubberband on a hemorrhoid?
Yes you can, but I don't recommend doing it yourself. There's a treatment called "Rubber Band Ligation" where your doctor puts two rubber bands at the base of the internal hemorrhoid with a special artifact. The point is that it stops blood irrigation to the hemorrhoid and it will dry out and subsequently fall off.
And I say I don't recommend doing it yourself because I already tried it. Since the theory seemed simple, I used two small and tight rubber bands used for dental braces to wrap an external hemorrhoid I had in hopes of suffocating it. I succeeded in wrapping it but the problem came in an hour or so: the pain was unbearable. The hemorrhoid swelled and turned purple, but it was hurting so bad and I wanted to see if it was going to work so I let it some more time and took a nap in hopes of waking up with the pain relieved. After waking up a few hours later the pain was soothed, but it came back after a while and it was much more worse than before, and the hemorrhoid was turning bright red. The pain was so intense that it just worsened with everything I tried to relieve it, including warm water, and so I decided to remove the bands before something wrong happened. It was quite difficult to remove them since they were so tight and the hemorrhoid burst open in the process with a little hemorrhage.
That's a true story and I don't recommend doing anything risky to your anus just by yourself. Go see a specialist.
Does resting help for hemorrhoids?
Activity increased vasodilation because increased activity requires a better blood supply. Resting decreases the dilation of the blood vessels because less blood is needed for oxygen and energy.
Piles, or hemorrhoids, do not have kids as they are not living organisms but rather swollen veins in the rectal area. They can occur due to various factors such as straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, or obesity. If you're asking about a different meaning of "piles," please clarify!
Hemorrhoids are often caused by increased pressure in the veins of the rectum and anus, which can result from factors such as straining during bowel movements, prolonged sitting, obesity, pregnancy, or chronic constipation or diarrhea. Other contributing factors include a low-fiber diet, lack of physical activity, and aging. In some cases, genetics may play a role in predisposing individuals to develop hemorrhoids. They can be uncomfortable but are generally treatable through lifestyle changes or medical interventions.
Running can potentially aggravate piles (hemorrhoids) due to the increased abdominal pressure and friction in the anal region. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional for advice on suitable exercises and activities that won't worsen the condition.
Yes, you should be very concerned. You have to know that your diet is horrible. Start with breakfast and have a bowl of oatmeal every morning. Use slow cooked oats instead of anything that takes less than ten minutes to cook. I eat old fashioned oates that require 15 minutes to cook. Get steel-cut oates if possible. Include a piece of fresh fruit. I recommend soy milk or better yet, goats milk.(cows milk creates muckus in the lungs and colon.) Your Doctor probably hasn't told you a lot about how to stay healthy into your golden years and most surly has failed to recommend a truly healthy diet. I wonder why? Funny thing, doctors don't make any money from well people. Only sick ones.
Cut down on red meat. eliminate it if you can. Eat more fresh vegatables and fruit. Oh, I know, I know...you know all this, so just do it! Otherwise, if you live to be old, it won't be fun. Good luck!
What does it mean when you have a bump where your bowels come from?
If there is a "bump" where your bowels are, then it is likely you have a hernia. You should schedule an appointment to see your doctor to get this checked out. If a loop of bowel in a hernia becomes twisted on itself, or if the blood flow is reduced, it can have some very serious consequences.
