I know Knowshon Moreno is from my families town (Middletown, NJ) and he was fun as hell to watch in highschool. Joe Flacco is from somewhere in South Jersey, I think. Miles Austin is from somewhere in NJ also and went to college at a school in NJ (Momnouth University). Victor Cruz, Anthony Davis, and Anthony Fasano are also from NJ. There are many more but I can't remember all of them.

The 2010 Kentucky Derby was run over a sloppy track. However, at race time it stopped raining and the sun actually came out. Super Saver won that race. The 2009 Kentucky Derby was run over a sloppy track and was won by Mine That Bird. The winning jockey both times was Calvin Borel.

Im not sure when it officialy became a sport. it used to be a fightiong technique. Indians would take rocks and put them in their versions of lacrosse sticks and hit there enemy with them. I"m guessing after "white man" discovered it, we began to use there war technique for recreational purpose which over the years became a sport
