What is the real name of draculas castle?

Bran Castle, Romania.

However, the real historical fortress of the Romanian ruler Vlad Ţepeş was Poenari Fortress. He was born in the fortress of Sighisoara, Romania and lived in Poenari Fortress, district of Arges, Romania. The Bran Castle was just his second home, where he attended visits.

Additional Info:

The term Dracula traces its origins to Romanian language.

Drăculea is the original 'nickname' of Vlad Ţepeş ('Vlad ZZepesh', where 'ZZ' sounds exactly like in 'piZZa'), a Romanian ruler that reigned in Transilvania (Eng. Transylvania) in the years 1448, 1455-1462, 1476. Several centuries later, Bram Stoker was born, fell in love with the character and decided to dedicate him an evergreen fictional book with the principal character reshaped as Dracula. Fantasy by history. That is.

More: Vlad Ţepeş's father (nicknamed Dracul) was a respected member of The Order of the Dragon with the duty to protect the South Eastern European gate in front of invading Turks. He encouraged his son by nicknaming him 'Drăculea' (Ro. 'son of Dracul'). Without these heroes, Europe would've been speaking muslim language nowadays.

His language: old Romanian (as seen in the centenary national monasteries).

Is Misery by Stephen King scary?

haha heck no its not scary at all its about this women kidnaps this famous writer when he got in a car wreck and she is obsessed with him and wont let him go she breaks his legs and everything i think that's the least scary movie that Stephen kings wrote it don't have no monsters scary faces or nothin like that it don't even show blood but u should watch it its a good movie

Answer

I think Misery is perhaps the scariest Stephen King novel. Last time I read this novel, my hands were shaking with fear during many of the chapters. It's SO suspenseful. The Annie Wilkes character (played by Kathy Bates in the movie) is so terrifying.

The movie is also brilliant, although I think the book is scarier. The book is a lot gorier than the movie, too. In the movie, she only clubs his foot until she breaks all the bones, while in the book, she actually CHOPS HIS FOOT OFF WITH A FREAKING AXE!

I'm sorry, but if you don't think that's scary, then there's something wrong with you.

Cry of pain in comic books?

Comic books have a lot of different sounds that characters can make. Just cries alone have a huge range. Depending on what type of cry you want, the sound could be different. For example:

Yargh!!-- One might have experienced an inconvenient pain, such as a stubbed toe, or they're clenching their teeth to try and not scream as loudly as they could have.

AAAIEEEEEEEE!!-- Pain that could be a piercing pain, thus a piercing scream. Or perhaps this is more of a terrified scream, where your heart becomes chilled. That is also painful.

Yow! Ouch! etc-- Better for typical run of the mill pain, more for realistic comics. Good for a punch, or a pinch. Not really emotional, they are good for portraying simple experiences of a day.

Ooof! Ack!-- Not quite cries of pain, they still occur in painful situations. The first one might be for a punch to a gut, and the second for say a chop to the throat.

Finally, there's your run of the mill AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Usually, this is good for intense scenes of pain, such as torture or mental destruction. You can make it as short or long as you want.

Most sounds are just letters strung together to give the illusion of sounds, like tmp tmp for footsteps, or ssssshhhhh for a steady rainfall. So a cry of pain can really be anything, although there are still the examples I have given above.

The summary of the masque of the red death?

it is about the "red death", similar to the black plague in which people start to profusely bleed and die within thirty minutes. Prince Prospero, ignorant of the dangers outside her palace, holds a masquerade. there were many rooms in the palace, all different colors. in one room, there was a clock, with a chime so frightening to the masked people that they stop whatever they are doing because they know they are coming closer to their deaths each time the clock chimes. soon, a masked figure dressed as if he had the Red Death enters, and runs through all the differently colored rooms. Prince Prospero chases him, but upon coming close, he dies. the people of the masquerade uncover the figure and notice that nothing is behind the costume. then, everyone dies of the red death and it prevails, killing the whole kingdom. typical Edgar allan poe story, huh?

Does lestat really love Jesse?

In the movie, "The Queen of the Damned", no, he doesn't, not really. The film's script tries to pair them but the chemistry and storyline is nowhere near realistic, so the ending scene suggests he did end up together with her but the storyline doesn't support it whatsoever. It depends on the viewer which part of the entire picture they see.

Even the producer of the film says it's "much less likely that Lestat would fall for Jesse than she with him." Which in this case is not that far from plain unlikely. As then he throws in "fate or circumstances" and "in a way he would never have predicted" - so admits there's no chemistry nor realistic storyline. Thus the film couldn't end like that in any emotional logic. The circumstances in question; it's Marius and Lestat they'd much more likely bring together (as father-son) and not Lestat & Jesse. And fate is always a card used when logic fails. They messed up but can't admit it. But at least they don't try to claim he'd actually love her.

And the source for that is on Warner Bros's Queen of the Damned website's F.A.Q.

However, in the books he had no love interest in her whatsoever.

What was the name of count Draculas first bride?

In the novel Dracula, the vampire Count has three vampire brides. They are never named (in the novel), neither is an order given to their chronology of 'marriage'. However the most beautiful one has her coffin secreted in the most inaccessible of locations within the Count's castle and Dr. VanHelsing wasted the remainder of the day (apparently the great part of it) searching for her.

In the Alternate History novel 'Anno Dracula', it is mentioned that one of the 'Brides' is Barbra of Celje: Holy Roman Emperess instrumental in the creation of the Order of the Dragon.

Other variations are given in the Wikipedia article 'Brides of Dracula'.

He was a real person. He worked with Bram Stoker, and supposedly gave Stoker his journal, which is what the novel Dracula is based from. For more information, read "The Annotated Dracula" by Leslie S. Klinger. He goes into far more detail.

Why is Twilight incessantly compared to Anne Rice?

Most compare the two for their likeness in trying to make the "romantic vampire". Anne Rice is well-known for being the first author to recreate the old horror vampire into an elegant and romantic vampire with human like feelings. Twilight is a newer form of such and vampire fans love to compare what they started out with and what is the new trend to the vampire scene.
