If you breed a light gray horse with a strawberry roan horse what color coat would the baby be?
If you're meaning on Howrse (the tags are confusing me a bit lol, sorry xD), the coat color would be at random. The color of the parents' coats do not affect the foal's, and it's at random.

Then you are disappointed. That's it. No one owes someone else a gift. A gift is a gift and not an obligation.
Is it safe to use bark on the floor of a horse stall?
Bark is never used for horse bedding. Some barks can be irritating and may cause respirtory problems. Some horses will actually eat some of their bedding and certain barks can cause digestive problems.

Why don't Horses use Rubber horseshoes?
Lone Pedersen wanted to give the horses the possibility to walk on a material with better shock absorption properties. Traditionally, the horse shoe is made out of steel and is fitted to the hooves of horses to offset wear. The steel shoes can wear out both the horses' joints and the surfaces they walk on. Lone Pedersen hoped that it would be more comfortable for the horses with the new shoes and that they would not be affected by as many injuries.
Many carriage horses wear rubber shoes as well. The shoes give the horses better footing, and better traction on pavement or other slick or west surfaces.
Horwse how to get your foal born quicker on he game?
you could use ageing points if you have some or you could buy them from the shop
Do you need to blanket your horse after you clip him?
You most certainly do. Unless you are committed to the expense and chore of blanketing then you should not clip your horse. When a horse is clipped you have stripped him of his natural jacket. When I clip my horses in the fall for end of season shows I dress them in layers. At night when it is the coldest I start with a sleazy (full body or head/neck), then a cotton sheet or blanket liner, and last a stable blanket or if hi is outside a turn-out rug. If the weather is very cold I put hoods over the sleazys. If you put your horse out instead of a stall forgo the sleazys and hoods. The thing is once you start you have to keep the blankets on. Its a lot of work but your horse looks good all year and they do stay cleaner. The down side is of course as mentioned above is the work but mostly the expense. Hoods, sleazys and sheets run about $75 a piece. Stable blankets are about $125 to $150 and turn-out rugs can run up to $300 a blanket. If you have more than 1 horse like I do then multply and that will give you an idea of what you will be spending.

When holding a horse for examination which side do you stand on?
When holding a horse for examination during a horse show halter class, you begin by standing on the left side of the horse, facing the judge. As the judge moves around the horse, the handler moves with him. The handler always stands facing the judge and will move from left side to right side, back to left side again, following and facing the judge.
Whenever a horse is being held, led, tacked, mounted, etc. the person should be on the left side of the horse.
What do you do if your horse on Howrse has mud fever?
Hi
if your howrse has mud fever buy some antiseptic ointment for it, thanks
Bye Ginnybubblexo (add me on howrse)
Horses can rear for several reasons.
1. Fear
-Horses are prey animals. Their natural instinct is to either fight or run away. If something frightens them, this instinct comes into play, and the horse may spook, rear, bolt, buck, or any number of fear-based reactions.
2. Anger
-If a horse is being mistreated, he may rear in an attempt to escape the situation, the pain, and the pressure their rider may be inflicting upon them.
3. Stress
-If a horse's emotions "bubble over" past the point where he can cope, such as in situations of excessive confusion, he may rear in an attempt to escape what is being asked of him.
Sometimes if you have really short reins and pull on them they will rear.
if you have a young horse or pony it may rear because it is not broken in yet
What horses do you breed to get a mustang on Howrse?
You can't mix random breeds and get a mustang, you have to breed two mustangs with each other.
BLUP starts at -100.00, and as your Howrse ages, trains, and wins competitions, the BLUP will move towards 100.00. To get maximum BLUP, the horse must have won 20 competitions, completed training in its three best skills, and be at least 10 years old.
How BLUP points are gained:You get 130 points for completed training in your best three skills, this includes rides and comps., the skill must go bold before this requirement is met.BLUP gain with aging
when your horse ages 1 month, BLUP = + 0.33333
when your horse ages 2 months, BLUP = + 0.66666
(max gain is 40 when horse reaches 10 years)
BLUP gain with competitions
when your horse wins 1 competition, BLUP = + 1.5
(max gain is 30, for 20 competitions victories)
40 points for reaching the age of 10
30 points for winning 20 competitions.
All these points are gained over time a little each day until you reach 100.
From the Howrse guide:The BLUP is a genetic index. It plays a role in the reproduction since the parents's BLUP influences the potential of a foal at its birth. It is calculated depending on the training level reached by the horse in its best three skills,
the number of competitions won by the horse, the ideal being 20 victories
and its age. The BLUP can only reach 100 after 10 years' old.
It is therefore interesting to select trained horses as reproducers and those that have excelled in competitions. Depending on these parameters, the BLUP will always be between - 100 and 100, - with -100 being the minimum BLUP and 100 the maximum BLUP that a horse can achieve.
If the parents's average BLUP is 0, i.e. neutral, it will not have an impact on calculating the foal's genetic potential. If it is less than 0, the foal will have more chance of seeing its potential lower than its parents's potential and vice versa if the average BLUP is more than 0.
To have the best reproducers and have every chance of having the best foals possible, it is preferable to select horse with a high, or at least a positive, BLUP, i.e. mainly well trained individuals.
Can you send a horse back that you have purchased if it is proved to be a windsucker?
Depends where you got it from, and if it was sold to you as "vice free". And if it can be proven that it windsucked before you got it and hasn't only just started..this will be the hard, if not impossible, bit.
There are other options such as a cribbing collar, grills for the stable door and alot of good eventers and racehorses windsuck and it does them no harm!
