Your answer could depend on one of a few things... Have you ever been prescribed or abused any opiates? I'm sure you haven't because if you did you wouldn't be asking this question... Don't do it. This is what has killed any number of celebrities in the past few years. If you MUST drink and take drugs, please at least make sure that your will is up to date, because your heirs will need it.

The difference between marijuana and vicodin on your body is, Marijuana is not as addicting as vicodin. Vicodin attacks your liver after a long time of taking them and you can also overdose while marijuana will effect some of your brain cells and make your lips darker.. lol honestly there is no comparing marijuana to vicodin. so if you are smoking marijuana, continue that rather then switching to Vicodin. I take Hydrocodone with Atenolol, and there is no risk. I am unsure of the other medication, but if you go to this site: http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html you will be able to list your medications and see if there are any interactions. Hydrocodone and chlorphenirame is a common decongestant, flu remedy or allergy medicine. A doctor can determine if a patient might need this, according to his/her symptoms, allergies and existing or prior prescription and medicinal history.

I do it on a daily basis multiple times and I am perfectly healthy. Just watch your Tylenol intake from the hydrocodone because, overtime, that stuff will RUIN your liver.

It depends on your tolerance and the dosage.

I have been taking 10 mg of Ambien for sleep for 10 years and have built up a tolerance. My doctor added .5 mg of Xanax but I have started to build a tolerance for that combo, too. I sometimes add 10 mg of Oxycontin and it does help me to sleep. But I don't like the withdrawl from Oxycontin so I don't take it very often at all.

I think there's a fine line between what a person can tolerate and insomnia can be a vicious cycle. Just look what happened to Michael Jackson. I am scheduled for a "sleep study" to get to the bottom of my insomnia because I can't continue to take these meds forever.
