This would be fine to take. Aleve is a NON-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It will not interact with the steroids in the triamcinolone. Remember that NSAID drugs are harsh on the stomach. Have some food before taking the Aleve.

I've taken up to 10 and I'm so used to it it doesn't make anything worse... it just gets rid of my Sciatica... and doctors will not give you opiates to kill the pain unless they refer you to a pain management... but I would not recomend a person that is not used to Ibuprofen to take more than 6...

It is very true that both these products can get you high or "buzzed" however using them could result in a very fatal health problem. Cough medicine is less effective by most means and less dangerous unless very large amounts are consumed. Ibuprofen is just a terrible idea to over dose on because cases have been reported of people taking over 10 ibuprofen at once 2 times per day. for just 2 days had health problems such as massive tears in the lungs as well as large holes. 80% were helped in time but still have to live with breathing problems 4 times worse than the average case of asthma. Basically.... don't use these products for such things. If you are of the age then use alcohol if you really must, though I'm not the one who would ever recommend any of these habits.
