NO on BUTTERCREAM, yes on other types of icing which do not contain raw eggs.
Buttercream is made with whipped RAW egg whites, then sugar syrup at a high temperature (240 degrees f) is added. The hot syrup probably partially cooks the eggs but it is partially cooked, at best. It is possibly safer than totally raw eggs, but by much, I have no idea. If you're pregnant, my suggestion is to eliminate the risk (of salmonella) altogether, select a frosting that doesn't contain raw or partially raw eggs, and look forward to that buttercream frosting post pregnancy.
