Will an AMD Athlon MP support 2 GB of RAM?
It's not whether your processor will support RAM but, rather, your motherboard. Try crucial.com for help == These AMD processors have inbuilt memory controllers and as per specifications can address upto 3 GBytes PC2100 memory. Many motherboards with this processor have 4 memory slots which in total support upto 3GB memory. Please refer to your motherboard specifications on how much memory it you can add. - Neeraj Sharma
Speed alone is not sufficient criteria to choose a system. You need to look at what type of work it is going to do. If you are doing big calculations, either in a large spreadsheet or in a large program that runs for a long time, then raw speed might drive you - although you would be well advised to also look at Local Bus speed, cache size and speed, and RAM size and speed. If your processing spends most of its time doing network or disk I/O and then does little bits of computation, speed would be interesting, but not the primary concern If your processing involves waiting for user input and then doing something simple, such as updating a text document, then speed is meaningless to you. However, processor manufacturers contantly build bigger and better processors, while the OS manufacturers constantly build bigger and better OSes that need bigger and better processors, so speed in all aspects comes back into play.
1.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor is equal to 6.4GHz processor?
dunno where u got the number 6.4GHz, but no if its a 1.6GHz processor, then its a 1.6GHz processor, the 1.6 is already and added up total.

CORE-Centralised Online Real time exchange..that what i have heard it to be. I searched many sites but doesn't find the expansion relevant to CORE in CORE banking..
You have 2.8 ghz Intel core 2 duo processor mean that the CPU has 5.6 ghz?
No. A Dual-Core Processor means there are 2 separate cores, each running at 2.8 GHz. The workload is split between the two, giving a combined 5.6 GHz processing power, but they will not work together on the same thing.
Where can you find client services for netware in ms windows xp pro sp2 and how to uninstall it?
goto start -> settings -> control panel -> network connections -> local area connection 1 -> there should be a list of protocols. find netware in the list and hit remove or uninstall, can't remember which.

Is emachines E732z upgradeable to i5 processor?
Yes.
The CPU Socket G1 / Socket rPGA988A on the E732z allows you to upgrade.
I have an I7 640m on mine.
The installation process is fairly simple, and the processor was boxed as new from China for £35.
Note that you need integrated CPU graphics for the E732z.
The e732g has integrated graphics, so you could go higher with CPU upgrade.
The Ram in mine is 8gb, and SSD drive too.
Fine for my needs.
Does Intel dg31gl support celeron processor?
yes but check cpu support list only certain ones a supported
Does a Core 2 duo processor have features that make it worth the upgrade?
Not really, its better to get a i3 which is the second generation of the intel family if you plan on upgrading your current pc. It has about 50mps per core plus its about only 25 bucks more.
What kind of fan does a Intel core 2 duo e8400 wolfdale come with?
Stock Intel Core 2 Duo fan, very quiet at low speeds which it will achieve as E8400 has significantly reduced Watt requirements.
2.3Ghz to 3Ghz is a 700Mhz increase that would require more PSU voltage and the CPU may not be stable at that speed. To have an effective overclock on any system, there needs to be a balance of stability and latency.
Think of it as traction of a race car. It would be great if your car was very stable, but not if you take corners like grandma looking for a parking spot. On the other hand, if your car was very powerful and fast, you don't want to drift and crash at every sharp turn. A careful balance of stability and traction will make you a better driver.
What kind of processor is Quad Core Xeon?
Quad Core Xeon is a brand of multi-processing microprocessors. These are targeted for the non consumer, and are mainly used and made for the business centers. The first processor was released in 1998.
How many waiting processes can a single processor have?
1 process at most is running.
1 process or multiple are ready.
1 process or multiple are waiting.
I'm stupid of buying this without checking anything, I put it in and the computer wouldn't start. I think it's because the e8400 has a bus speed of 1333Mhz and the e520 can't support that speed but I'm not sure. You'll have to get something that Dell recommends, or you'll find out that you've wasted a lot of money.
What is the the best cooler for a processor?
Best is a subjective question that requires personal opinion to answer. There are a few empirical answers to it however it all depends on the processor being cooled. An Ivy Bridge processor has an extremely small die area, and those will not be as effectively cooled as one of the large "sandy Bridge" era CPUs. AMD processors likewise use a larger lithogrpahy that is more effectively cooled with large heatpipe coolers.
For cost efficiency and low idle temperatures a heatpipe Direct touch cooler with aluminum fins will generally be the most cost effective. Originally designed as a "Xigmatek HDT" tower, it has been rebadged as an OCZ vendetta, Coolermaster Hyper 212 and a number of other heatsinks over the last decade.
For larger high TDP processors the answer is still basically the same, except a much larger size (3 to 4 times the fin surface area) and more heatpipes, combine with additional fans. As the Thermaltake Frio, Noctua DH-14 and the Phanteks PH-TC14PE are among some of the highest rated large sized tower coolers.
Lastly on the serious end of "air cooling" is what is termed "water cooling."
Water cooling is a misleading term as modern heatpipe coolers also use water to move heat from teh CPU surface to shed it at large metal fins.
Modern water cooling, uses standard water to transfer heat from a CPU block to a large radiator that can be setup somewhere else, either in the case or externally. The primary benefit to this is large amounts of heat can be moved efficiently. This does not lead to significantly lower temperatures over a high end "tower cooler" but can reduce overall case temperatures, and more importantly can equal the performance of the best tower coolers at far lower noise levels.
What are the disadvantages of single-core processor?
not as good as dual core processor, its slower and sh*t
Edit for more detail: imagine this; you are working on a school project. alone. while your friend john is working with his brother. you are doing the same topic, and have the same due date. 3 weeks later, your stressed out because you still have quite a bit of work to do, while john and brother are on vacation in Florida, or something. buuutttt, john has a cousin who has the same project to do with the same due date, but 1 1/2 weeks earlier than john finished, his cousin was done. and imagine johns cousin has a brother who has THE SAME PROJECT DUE but he has 6 friends, and so on so on. once you start to get into 12 + core territory, its pretty overkill and will just slow down the whole processor in trade for more things at once. because the more the merrier, but too many chefs spoil the soup.
Will gta 4 run on Intel you core i3?
Yes,but in low settings,if you want better settings you need a core2 quad q8400 or better. For maximum settings you need a core i7 and a gtx 260 or Ati 4870 graphic card, plus 4 gb of ram.
Frankly, most modern games are GPU (graphics-card) bound more than CPU-bound. A Core i3 will easily run GTA 4 in all but the highest resolutions (1900x1200 or higher) provided it has a good graphics card - generally at least an nVidia GTX 460 or Radeon 6850. You will need sufficient RAM (2GB minimum if you run nothing else).
The sad fact of the current state-of-the-art games is that they are poorly designed (from a software standpoint). Very few scale well with added cores (most barely use two cores well), and are notoriously poorly multi-threaded. Very, very few games really can make use of a Quad-core system - in fact, most games which "recommend" a quad-core system do so not for the game, but so that the game can have two cores to itself, and the additional cores run system or other apps. Now that most GPUs include physics modeling support, the vast majority of work in a modern PC game is done on the GPU, with the CPU generally being much less loaded (often, doing "housekeeping" functions and audio, and little else).
What is the paradox of interactive technology?
The challenge, then, is not only to produce a "cool" digital medium in which learning can take place, but to do so despite use of a screen that may remind us of television and the uninvolved behavior patterns it induces.

DuPont analysis (also known as the DuPont identity, DuPont equation, DuPont Model or the DuPont method) is an expression which breaks ROE (Return on Equity) into three parts. The Du Pont identity breaks down Return on Equity (that is, the returns that investors receive from the firm) into three distinct elements. This analysis enables the analyst to understand the source of superior (or inferior) return by comparison with companies in similar industries (or between industries).
