Let me start from the beginning. Got my 16G Iphone 3g with the 2.2.1 software.

All I wanted was to unlock it so I got the TurboSim installed, my phone was working perfectly after that. No problems whatsoever.

I upgraded my phone to the 3.0 software

Went and got it unlocked again. Not sure exactly what the person did but it took him a while to do it. About 2 hours

Ever since then, my battery life has gone down way faster than what it used to. It lasts less than 8 hours even after an overnight charge. And it gets really hot!

I had quite a few apps on there, I took them all off and it helped a little.

The guy who unlocked it, I think jailbroke it. I noticed I have new apps

Have no idea what they are, I don't want to design my phone. I just wanted it unlocked to use with T-mobile. Is that possible? Do you have to jailbreak to unlock for 3.0?

What is causing the battery death? I've been on different forums and I am really confused. Is it the upgrade to 3.0 or the unlocking/jailbreaking? Can I use a different TurboSim?

Plus I also want all my apps back on my phone.

I keep seeing "oh you need to turn off your wifi, edge, 3g, that still doesn't help.

Someone please help me solve this!!!!

I forgot to mention that also ever since the unlocking or whatever for the 3.0 my phone is not as fast as it was. especially when I go to check my texts. I am really annoyed. Please help!!!

You can turn off the rotate function (which will stop all things from transitioning to landscape mode) by double-clicking the home button and scrolling all the way to the left. There is what looks like a recycle symbol click that. Or you can just turn the phone up-right.

There is a spot in settin gs that you can remove the cookie virus.

Scroll up to the top right hand corner and hit edit then u can delete them

Go to the Settings App, then click Sounds, there should be a Vibrate section and you can slide it on and off whenever you feel like it.

People have been compaining about the glass screen and back and have been saying that it cracks easily, about calling people and saying that they cant hear them properly, about reception when they hold it in their left hand, about the sound buttons being switched making the - turn the volume up and the + turning the volume down. Took me a while to find this number because it isn't even published in the Yellow Pages. Shows they have something to hide. I was on hold for more than 20 minutes before getting a person on the phone and was not at all happy with the resolution of my issues with them.
