The gfci's are tied together in one circuit so that's why no power, and it sounds as if one of them is malfunctioning probably the bathroom one. Your outside outlets should also be on this circuit so something could also be wrong there. Be sure to check the obvious (tripped breaker) first. Alot of times a shorted sink disposer can be the culprit so be methodic and thorough in checking all the gfci's normally they will be anywhere that there will be the possibility of water contacting with electricity like near or under the sink, bathrooms, outside, and water heater.

If a phone needs a 7v 900ma charger can you use a 9v 400ma if the voltage and polarity are the same?
The volts MUST match exactly, the polarity MUST match exactly, and the milliamps MUST be the same or more. The unit will use what it needs, even if to much is being offered. On the other hand, too few milliamps will BURN THE UNIT OUT!
So on top of loosing your equipment, you could loose your life also ... since it is a major fire hazard!
Clearly the voltage is not the same. The phone needs 7V, the charger is at 9V. Mismatching voltage will not work.
Using a power supply with a maximum current rated below what is required will result in 1) the supply voltage dropping, and 2) the device generating additional heat. Such low power requirements do not present a serious hazard, fire or otherwise. However, the higher voltage will likely seriously damage the phone. Had the supply you chose been rated at 7V 400mA, the phone would likely still charge, albeit much more slowly.
Can a regular extension cord cause a TV to explode if there is no wiring problem within the walls?
Most TV sets don't draw enuff current to make an extension cord unusable. The real problem is getting which kid to confess to throwing that heavy toy at the screen which caused the implosion. OK, maybe it wasn't the kid--your kids must be as perfect as mine--but it is very, very likely that the screen got scratched somehow, and after a couple hundred heat cycles (on, off, on off, etc, you get the idea) the scratch went all the way thru and the implosion resulted. Anyway, about extension cords...they are manufactured and used by the millions every year and you don't see any law suits about using them. So go ahead and use the extension cord on the TV, the biggest danger is tripping over it.
appliances are not made to run on extension cords that is why they have there own cord it is more likely you got a power surge and did not have surge strip
I was wondering the same thing? It seems noone has so far wrote an article about this so it seems impossible however it is questionable , right? cause that kind of an explosion would provide glass parts flying everywhere not being stopped by cutting the man watching the tv at the moment in any possible way..... just like a grenade encased ina glass bottle exploded except you do not feel the blast of the grenade but rather the shatterting glass flying toward you cutting you to pieces like a butchers knife
No. An extension cord cannot make your TV explode. The danger of extension cores is that they have resistance. When current is flowing through them this parasitic resistance makes the cord itself consume power, which it dissipates as heat. If the current is great enough, the power comsumed by the cord makes the cord hot enought to cause a fire hazard.
Also, the tv's don't "explode" they IMPLODE
Yes explosions launch debris outwards.....tv'c ALWAYS implode, launching debris inwards. Very little debris will be outside of tv if any. Tvs dont just explode, true a scratch or hard object weakend the tube and then it imploded. Or someone threw something at it; bumped it with something very hard etc.

Why are comic strips written in all capital letters?
Mainly, it's to prevent letters from running together. All capital letters are exactly the same height. But some lowercase letters have tails that project below the baseline: g, j, p, q, and y. These tails can overlap letters on the line below, making the text difficult to read. You can prevent this by spacing your lines of text farther apart, but that means fewer lines will fit inside your word balloon. By using all capitals, you can space lines closer together, and fit more words in a balloon.
Which authentication mechanism enables iPhone and iPad to take advantage of VPN-on-demand?
The authentication mechanism that enables iPhone and iPad to take advantage of VPN-on-demand is called "Per-App VPN" or "VPN-on-demand with Per-App VPN."
With Per-App VPN, the device establishes a VPN connection automatically when specific apps or resources are accessed that require secure communication. This mechanism allows organizations to enforce VPN policies selectively for certain apps or resources, ensuring that sensitive data is transmitted securely over the VPN tunnel.
Authentication for Per-App VPN typically involves the use of certificates or credentials configured by the organization's IT department. These credentials are used to authenticate the device and establish a secure VPN connection when needed.
Apple's iOS devices, including iPhones and iPads, support Per-App VPN functionality, enabling organizations to implement secure VPN connections for specific apps or resources as required.
