it doesnt matter. if you turn it off, it will charge faster. if you leave it on you can still use it, but it charges slower.

Depends upon what format you save that 3 mins song. If its uncompressed like in a 16 bit 44khz wave format(.wav) 3 mins will be aproximately 30 megabytes. If its compressed into 128Kbps mp3 then its around 3 megabytes.

Well... the difference between the 1st generation iPod Touch and the 3rd generation iPod Touch is SLIGHTLY different. The cases will STILL WORK!!! (you are relieved :) ) The difference between the two generations is that the 3rd generation is slightly slimmer that the 1st. The thing is the cases made for the 1st generations might me a little big... (by a few centimeters!)

if your ipod gets locked, and you dont know the password, you must follow these steps.

1. plug in your ipod into your computer

2. open iTunes

3. hold down the 'sleep' and 'home' button until it turns off

4. once it turns off, let go of the top 'sleep' button, but still hold down the 'home' buton for another 5-8 seconds.

your ipod is now in recovery mode.

itunes will restore it, and the password will not be there!

Tumblr for iPod Touch is free and no it doesn't cost any money to post stuff on Tumblr from your iPod. I have Tumblr for my iPod Touch and I LOVE it. I'm not too sure if it costs anything to post from an iPhone,but I don't believe it does. Hope this helped(:

Wi-Fi is really popular because instead of having a wired connection to your internet they have invented a wireless internet to access the internet on any type of machine as long as they have a wireless card built into them which all computers/laptops have now.

Go to the home page of the iPad, and press for a long time on the button on the bottom. At some point little X's will appear next to the app icons. Press the X's to delete whatever app's you want to delete.

If it's under warranty, contact Apple or schedule an appointment to take it to your local Apple retail store to have a Mac Genius (technician) look at it. If it's not under warranty, and it's the center scrollwheel button that's giving you a problem, you may want to try to take something thin and plastic, like the corner of a laminated card, and gently work it between the edges around the button to see if you can coax it out. Not really, but it doesn't really need any because it is so locked down. The only way to install software without jailbreaking is the app store. Apple have put a few pieces of protective software on it, but it doesn't really need any security software.

Actually, you can even without the use of third party software. With your ipod connected to your machine find the ipod, allow the folder to show hidden files, and open up your ipod folder. Copy "iPod_Control" onto your computer and have iTunes add that folder to your music collection, that folder contains all your music on your iPod.

If you mean the same iTunes account, then yes. My sister has the same account on iTunes on our home computer as well as her laptop. But if you buy some songs from the iTunes store from one of the computers and you want the new ones on your other computers, you'll have to sync those songs into the other computers' iTunes.

There are two primary options for deleting pictures off of an iPod Touch. If you intend to only delete a few, the quickest and easiest method is to simply open the "Photos" app, tap the unwanted picture, and tap the "garbage can" icon in the lower right hand corner. Repeat as necessary.

However, if you wish to delete many pictures, the above method will be cumbersome. In that case, sync your iPod Touch to the computer using the included USB cord. Once you are in iTunes, click on the folder entitled "Pictures." Highlight all the pictures you no longer want and manually delete them.
