If an iPod Touch is off, you cannot track it. The iPod must be on for tracking to be enabled.

No, the iPod Touch cannot run on a cellular network. It doesn't have the capabilities to do so, and only works with a Wi-Fi connection.

You can only receive Wi-Fi if you are within range of a wireless router. To see if there are any wireless routers within range of your iPod. Go into "Settings" and "Wi-Fi" at the top. The available wireless routers in range of your device will then show up. Simply tap on the connection you want to connect to and you're done. You may be required to enter a password or WEP key if the router is protected.

1. Sync your iPad with iTunes or iCloud. My preference is iTunes, because you can sync with a local computer through a cable and not have to worry about communication problems throught WiFi or 3G.
2. Plug the iPad into your computer. Wait for the computer to recognize your iPad and load iTunes. Wait for iTunes to complete the Syncing process -- sometimes seven steps.
3. Backup your iPad. Click the Back Up Now button in iTunes and wait for the process to complete.
4. Restore your iPad. After the backup is complete, click on the Restore Backup... button in iTunes. When prompted, select "restore from a backup." Follow the instructions to restore the backup you just made.
5. Sync the iPad with the Computer. After the backup is restored to your iPad, click the Sync button in iTunes. This will ensure all the apps, music, etc. is restored to your device.
6. Watch you iPad restart. Disconnect your iPad from the computer and wait for it to restart. In a few minutes, your device will restart, and your apps, settings, and other data (like contacts and music) will be restored.
7. Smile. Your jailbeak is now unbroken and your iPad is back to its original jailed state.

If you found an iPod Touch, you should turn it in to the local lost and found, but if there is none, then there's not too much you could do.

You would have to restore the iPod through the user's account, but you do not have the account, so restoring would be near impossible.

it depends on how big the game files are, each gigabyte can hold i think 1,200 megabytes which is what games or "apps" are counted as. a game can be between 0.2 megabytes for very small or up to 300 mb, it all depends. the better games normally have alot more mb

There is no standard size for video because you understand when I say a 3 hrs long movie take more space then a 30 seconds clip. Another factor is the quality: a FullHD movie or clip will use up more space than the same clip in conventional definition. There is also other factors, but they are less likely to happen.

The Apple Web Site reports that you can store up to one hour of video per gigabyte (for movies).

The answer is dependent upon what you intend to use it for.

For example:

The iPad supports Wireless-N technology while the iPhone supports up to Wireless-G.

The iPad supports up to a 64 gig flash drive while the iPhone supports up to 32 gigs.

While this may seem like the iPad is technologically superior, and technically it is, it may simply be a factor that the iPad has more room to put this technology into the space it provides as compared to the iPhone/iPod touch.

But then again maybe it's not, and they're saving this for the next generation of the iPhone. It's impossible to tell with Apple, which is why the rumor mill always churns at full speed with this company due to their secrecy. But to be honest, my iPhone doesn't need to connect at wireless-N speeds. If I needed something with that much speed, I'd own a laptop and a 4G wireless card.

One thing I'd consider an upgrade personally is that there is no proximity sensor in the iPad. I've lost count how many times I've hit the 'home' button on my iPhone only to have it open an icon on my bottom menu because my knuckle was near the screen, without actually touching it.

All in all, if you need a "light computer" go with the iPad, if you MUST select an Apple product. Otherwise, the iPhone/iPod touch should work for you fine.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the i pad you cant get on anything flash (no facebook) you cant open or have anything .jpg (most pictures, songs, documents) you cant multitask (having to things open at once, so you have to completely shut off the internet to open a picture) for reading books on the iPad, you have to have PERFECT lighting or the glossy screen will make it nearly impossible. They say the battery lasts up to 10 hours, which would be great if you could buy a replacement battery so that you wouldn't have to wait 12 hours for it to charge! So, the iPad is pretty much just a big iPod touch with less functionality!! NOT worth the money!

Apple products don't support flash because that's Apple's decision. Steve Jobs himself claimed that flash was 'too buggy' and therefore wouldn't support it on an Apple platform, so regardless of what you choose, you won't get flash. You simply get facebook on the iPhone/iPod touch because, pardon the cliche, 'there's an app for that.'

Personally, for the price, I'd just buy a laptop. Why spend 700 bucks for a 64 gig iPad with limited capability when you can buy a full-on Windows 7 laptop like mine for 100 bucks more that supports blu-ray playback, a 17.5" screen, a far larger hard drive, etc?

While I think Apple hit a home run with the iPhone (I LOVE mine, and how many 'iPhone killers' have come and gone?), however, I see the iPad being as big a flop as AppleTV.

It really depends. The iPod Touch is way more convenient if you are constantly on the go or use it in the car, away from home, on airplanes, etc. It also charges faster and is (obviously) less bulky.

The iPad is good for if you want to read, play games while looking at details (doodleBuddy would be fun on an iPad) and have a way easier keyboard. However, it would be really bulky in say the car, would break easily, considering its size and weight bc ppl would drop it. Also if you brought it on an airplane ppl would steal it while you were in the lavatory, basically guaranteed. And it charges way slow and would be hard to play games like DoodleJump and CatchTheEgg on. But Cupcakes! would be fun. ;] so I guess it really depends on your taste and what your gonna use it for.

you guys are all wrong the iPad is better because you can do more things than an iPod touch can. but my friend always says they are technically the same thing because it's like the iPod is a cheaper and miniature iPad. but i choose iPad

Every company releases a free version of their app but usually famous games doesnt provide their addictive features in free version. There is no place where you can buy paid apps for free but yeah there is a list of companies and game apps that provide addictive features in their free version such as Air Flight Control and the hunting champ 'Bird Hunting'.

Yes u can, u just go to settings, click general, and then click restrictions, then click restrictions on and u can block safari, youtube, app store, maps, mail, everything that comes with the ipod, but there is another browser just as an extra i dont rememnber wat its called, but u can look it up on itunes, its not safari, but it like another browser, so if ur mom, like my mom, wont let u have open internet, u can dowload this, yes its stupid but better than nothing, it is 0.99$. hope this helps

No, because it is not a cell phone, but an mp3 player. An iPhone requires a plan if you wish to call and text.

If it's an iPhone, yes, you can text in messages.

If you have an iPod touch, you can download an app that enables you to text. There are free ones out there that are just as good as ones you have to pay for, so I reccommend looking for one!

The iPod Touch does not have a 'hold button'. To restart the iPod Touch from a frozen screen position, hold down the power button, and then slide the off switch to the right, and it will shut off (and will take longer than usual). Then, just turn it back on by holding the power button until the Apple logo appears.

I don't think you can but if you are a bedtime reader like me then: if iPhone is in landscape, tilt the phone with the home button closest to the ceiling (upside down basically). If you don't understand just keep turning your phone around and It should stop at one point.

You me use someones encrypted wireless network? Telling you how to break into someones wireless network would be illegal so I don't think anyone will give you that information. After all there's a reason they encrypted their network. It's because they don't want free loaders getting on it and using up their bandwidth. Maybe you should respect that and use your own internet or use someone else's wireless that's not encrypted.

No, but it will void your warranty. Any operational problems you will have (and you will certainly be increasing their likelyhood) may give Apple the right to refuse warranty service on your iPad.

Search in the last places you had your iPod Touch in.

If you do not find it there, contact all of your friends to keep an eye out for it.

Turn your house upside down searching for it if you really want to find it.

If you still do not find it, then you are going to be out of luck.

You select your picture you want to use from photos and then you press the little button with a square and arrow in the bottom left hand corner, then select use as wallpaper.
Go to your photos, touch the photo you want, and touch the icon at the bottom far left(looks like a square with an arrow going out of it), then select use as wallpaper, and TADA!! Hope this helps!! :)
