It depends on what type of iPod you have. If the screen is frozen , on the iPod touch you need to hold down the "hold" button and the "home button" until the screen turns black and or the grey screen shows up with the apple icon. I am a zune owner, first you need to download the program. Yo mite still have the old program which won't work. Just go to zune.net and download it.
