What is the value of Sears model 45 30-30 lever action rifle?
All I can tell you is that in North Central Ks. They seem to be a popular gun. Most of the time at farm auctions or sales they usually bring between 250 to 350 dollars in well worn but not beat up condition.
What is a Model 12 20 Gauge pump Made by JC Higgins worth?
I am unsure of the value however you will have better luck with your search if you use the real name and type of the JC Higgins model 20. You actually own a High Standard Model 200. I just recently refurbished one for a friend and it took me about a week to ID this particular firearm for parts purposes. Numrichs gun parts has all the parts you'd ever need too just in case. Good Luck, John
Where can you find a bolt action for a J. Stevens 22 caliber Model 56 rifle?
Your best chance is to find a complete gun to cannabalize. We have found several for people, selling the bolts for around $70 each. www.countrygunsmith.net
How do you get the bolt out of a 16 gauge shotgun for cleaning?
Make sure the gun is unloaded. Raise the bolt, then squeeze the trigger while pulling the bolt to the rear. I've never seen a bolt action where this didn't work.
Answerlook on the left Sid of the barell and there should be a screw loosen it up and the bolt will slide out.Neither Revelation nor Western Field made firearms. The first is a brand name retailed by Western Auto and the second by Montgomery Ward. The Revelation 220 is a Mossberg 800 and the 225 a Savage 340.
What is a JC Higgins bolt action 16 gauge worth?
j c Higgins bolt action shot guns are excellent guns ,and of good quality their was a recall by Sears but that has been with drawn and baseless the shotguns were made by High standard manufacturing . there are two basic models the model 10 wich was made between 1946 and 1956 and the model 11 from 1957 to 1962 model 10 is 6 shot and the model 11 is 3 shot these shotgun are some of the best bolt action shotguns ever made. How ever bolt action shotgun are old fashion and not very popular today and Sears sold a lot of them so one in good to ner new is only worth abought 100 buck if you know somebody that whants it a gun dealer may offer alot less than that however these are still very good gun and better made than most of the modern stuff you have great old shotgun enjoy it
Recall Would Not ApplyThe recall was for 12ga guns only, and is still in effect. Sears no longer pays $160 per bolt, however; it is down to $65 (I think). 16ga and 20ga guns were never subject to the recall. $125 TopsIt's a good enough gun to use, but bolt action shotguns just aren't in demand. They will bring only a little more than an old single shot. Even if the Sears recall is only $65, that's probably more than a dealer or pawnshop will give you for a Sears 12 gauge bolt action. actually it was all gauges 583 3 to 583 21 how ever the recall was baseless and Sears is nolonger buying the bolts back no telling how many good old shotguns were ruined buy all that stupidityWhat is the value of a JC Higgins model 583.18?
I Just bought a JC Higgins 583.18 In 16ga in good condition it cost $85 I have seen them for $100. I'm not shure if this will help But that's what I've seen.
What is value of J. Stevens 1894 favorite .22 cal. rifle?
Value of the 1894 Stevens Favorite in .22 caliber is hugely dependent on the gun's condition. Complete guns in rough condition seem to start at about $100 at gunshows and on-line auction sites (but shipping adds to the cost). Really clean examples with good wood, good blue and strong case color can be realistically priced as high as $400, although it takes a picky collector to pay that much. The 1894 in average condition probably is worth $150 to $200.
Where can you find parts for a sears and roebuck model 200 12 gauge?

Answeron a Winchester model 1200What is the value of a 22 caliber JC Higgins Model 36 in good condition?
The approximate value is in the genreal area of 85-130 US dollars
What is the approximate value of a JC Higgins model 36 22 cal in pretty good condition?
the model 36 is the last in the line of auto-loading .22 rifles. in good condition the value is only around 75.00. grab a book or check a website and find out what the condition actually is. like most older things that are collected there is a standard chart for determining condition as accepted by most buyers. your "pretty good" condition may be an excellent condition and then the value will increase to as much as 175.00 depending on your area.
your shotgun was made by high standard in the late 1970's to early 1980's. numerich gun parts has many parts for it available as they were able to buy most of high standard's inventory when the factor closed in 1984. you can find them at either www.e-gunparts.com or 1-845-679-2417. good luck
I'm researching the same question w/ a similar sears rifle. So far, I've discovered the sears model 5, 22cal rifle Mod No. 273-2340 & 273-2341(the one I possess) were contracted out to Winchester. Under the Sears brand, they were the Model 5. Winchester manufactured the same rifle, starting in 1963 under the Models 150 & 250. On-line auctions have the values of the Winchesters ranging from $40 to $250 depending on condition. Less info is avail. about the model 5's. The one variance I've noticed is that the forearm on the Model 5 is distinctly different from the Winchesters, that appear more on the line of the Model 94 look. But then again, Hey- I'm no expert. If you can determine the value of the Winchester branded gun, figure that the Sears name will reduce the value by 20-40%
The Ranger tradename was used by Sears Roebuck. Model 101.2 is the Savage model 238. You can't get an exact date on these, but it was probably sometime between 1945 and 1965. Value would be $100 or so.
How do you load a Sears and Roebuck 2200 22 cal rifle?
turn the rod under the barrel about 1/4 turn then pull it out slide 15 rounds down the tube then reinstall the rod
What is the age and value of a JC Higgins Model 66 Automatic?
your shotgun was made by high standard just prior to 1980. value will depend on condition mostly. i can estimate that one in good condition will cost around $200.00 to 300.00.
High Stadnard stopped making the model 66 for sears when the Ted Williams 30 made by Winchester was introduced inteh early 1960's High Standard was completely out of the shotgun busines by early 1977.
THis link is to a chart that shows the dates when these shotguns were cataloged by Sears.

Try PolyChoke/Cutts Compensator. Also, High Standard, Winchester, Savage and Stevens made guns for JC Higgins(Sears). I went on "Yahoo" & typed in "High Standard Shotguns" and there is a wealth of information regarding this. High Standard made shotguns as well as pistols for Sears. This site will give you approximate dates of manufacture. If you want to talk about this more, feel free to contact me via e-mail at mdl12sx1@sbcglobal.net. What you probably have is a Power Pac made by Pachmayr for Sears. I have one as well. A web site that sells these is www.corsonsbarrels.com/powerpacchokes.htm. They are also sometimes listed by Numrich Gun Parts www.e-gunparts.com/. The word is that you should not fire plastic wads through these, which rules out most modern ammo. The wad could expand in the gap between the end of the barrel and the forcing cone of the choke tube. Not a good thing! Be sure that you get tubes made for the Higgins/Sears Power Pac as they are a different size than Pachmayr ones. Also please check your J.C.Higgins for recalls, some are unsafe to shoot.
When was a JC Higgins 16 ga double barrel model 1017 manufactured and how much is it worth?
"J.C. Higgins" was used by Sears as a brand name from 1946 to 1962. That should gve you a general idea of age. As far as I can tell, the 16 GA was manufactured throughout that time period. As for price, I payed $225, and have seen them from 175 to 250 depending on condition. For a more certain answer, check out the gun bluebook.
Approximately when did High Standard make JC Higgins Model 80 pistols for Sears?
1956 through 1963. There were two tpes of model 80 583.800 made from 1955 through 1961 and type 583.801 made in 1962 and 1963 http://www.histandard.info/models/pistols/Dura.html
This model was manufactured from 1937 to 1981. If it has no serial number, it was made before 1968. Value would be $125 or less, depending on it's condition. What history do you want? All you can possibly get is what you and any previous owners can tell you. It was probably bought to keep the fox out of the hen house and did an admirable job. To remove the bolt you simply pull the trigger. value is relevent to supply and demand. i need your clip. my demand is high and supply is low. i will give you $50 for the clip and pay shipping and handling if you still have it and you live in the US contact me at www.myspace.com/mikedubosesc
Where do you get parts for a JC Higgins model 581-1101 20 gauge bolt action shotgun?
Go to "e-gunparts.com" This is Numrich Arms in upstate NY. They maintain a parts inventory for old firearms of every make. They depend on cannibalizing old guns, so they don't always have the parts in stock, but they have a surprizing amount available.
How do you know what years a certain JC Higgins model was manufactured?
Cross reference it to a manufacturer's model (proofhouse.com has a good list) then look up that model in the Blue Book or Standard Catalog of Firearms.
What is the value of a JC Higgins 16 gauge pump shotgun model 20?
The cross-reference list says this is a High Standard 200 marked with the Sears brand name but I can't seem to find a listing for that gun. A pump shotgun should bring $75 in useable condition and up to $175 in excellent condition.
