Electricity was much less expensive than it is today, so people didn't need to conserve as much. Homes were not as well insulated as they are today; those with electric heat probably used a lot more electricity than anyone could afford today.

Things like fridges were around and lawenmowers that didn't use petrol but these were much heavier than current mowers.

Actually, push mowers are much lighter than current lawnmowers, because they don't have a fifty-pound engine. For some types of grass, reel-type push mowers still do a much better job. The first practical barcode scanner was made in 1966.

The Na'vi have a queue, a bundle of neural fibers that extend down from their skull, covered with hair, almost like a long pony-tail. The Na'vi use these fibers to neurally join with certain animals that possess a similar neural bundle and create a bond. To the Na'vi, this bonding is called tsahaylu.

The movie Titan can be watched online via Netflix if one has an account with them. Although there are websites that will allow people to watch free movies online, It is not advised due to copyright laws.

Avatar is a movie about an Earth company (the RDA) that is trying to extract a rare and valuable mineral, Unobtainium, from the moon Pandora, located in the Alpha Centauri star system. There is an intelligent race called the Na'vi which are indigenous to the moon. The movie follows a soldier named Jake Sully who assumes his dead brother's place in the AVTR program, where people neurally connect to a lab grown, organic human-Na'vi hybrid called an "avatar". In this body he attempts to befriend the natives to work out a peaceful mining solution. The Na'vi are a very spiritual people who have a strong connection to nature and their environment and are against the mining. Jake becomes torn between the ways of his own race and the deep beliefs of the Na'vi, and eventually betrays humanity. The movie touches upon the idea of how far humans will go to get what they want, no matter what the cost.

The story starts with the main character, Jake Sulley finishing his brothers mission. When he gets to his designated place, they give him his avatar body. Not to soon after, they head for Pandora, but while they were there, Sulley gets lost trying to get away from a "Pandora animal." It's soon night time, and he runs into these wolves/dogs. Let's just say that it was Pandora style. Right when they started to gang up on him, Neytiri, who is a Avatar from the Na'vi tribe steps in and stops them. When Eywa gave Neytiri a sign and she brought him to the rest of the Na'vi tribe. They decided to train Jake so that he can join them. While Neytiri is training him they fall in love. But what Jake doesn't know is that Colonel Quaritch is trying to destroy the tree that the Na'vi's treasure because underneath the tree, there is an energy source that the military wants. He destroys it but Sulley, being one of the tribe, tries to stop them, but they catch him on the camera. Sulley and Dr. Grace are in trouble and are put in this room but soon Trudy, who is the pilot gets them out and they are going back to their avatar bodies. Before I spoil the ending, I should just stop here. That was a brief summary of the movie, but I assure you that the movie is way better than how i described it.

It didn't have one. By the way, they were not dragons; the smaller ones with the wierd chins were called "banshees (plural)" or "ikran (plural and singular)." the bigger ones were called "great leonopteryx (singular; for plural add '-es')" or "toruk." For the the other answer from before, "Toruk Macto" was the Na'vi name for any Na'vi that rode a great leonopteryx.

The setting in the movie "Avatar" is a planet named Pandora where humans are put in a machine that looks like a tanning bed and put in the bodies of their avatars which look like the humanoids that live on the planet so they will blend in.

yeh the movie is based on the cartoon but i dont think it is called avatar anymare cuz there another movie called avatar so it called 'The last air bender' hope that answerd your question :)

On an earlier military tour, Jake Sully suffered spinal damage that cost him the use of his legs. He could not afford the procedure that could fix the problem.

Rendition ends with the CIA agent getting the main character out of the jail on his own and sending him on a boat home, against the advice of all his superiors. The main torturer's daughter is killed when she finds out that her lover is going to assassinate her own father as revenge for his brother dying at his hands. She runs to stop him and embraces him, begging him not to be a suicide bomber and not to kill her father. Somehow he falls and she falls on top of him and he releases the charge. The CIA agent also calls US papers and tells them the whole story and this is seen when Meryl Streep reads all these papers and gets numerous phone calls questioning her. Great ending.

According to James Cameron himself, the original format DVD as well as the Blu-ray version will be coming out April 22nd. But according to other unreliable websites, it should be out before June 30th. However, since Avatar is still booming at the box office, it's uncertain.

It cost $500million dollars to make Avatar.

If I remember correctly, it took them 4-6 hours to drive to their vacation at Ocean City, Maryland. I'm also not sure about this, but I believe I remember hearing something about New York. Depending on where in New York they lived, this is very possible. However, I don't think I ever remember seeing snow on the show. LOL
