Sometimes low power steering fluid can cause this but more likely if you are aligned properly and/or it is not all the time wobbling at same speeds it can mean that your power steering pump is taking in air. To check for this have someone in the car while running. Have them turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right. Listen for belt slippage/squeal if none watch during this process with power steering cap off and see if any bubbles appear. The ONLY way for there to be bubbles in this tank is
a. Recently or still very low power steering fluid levels (you may hear a sucking noise if this is the case)
b. somewhere on the low pressure/suction line there is a weak seal, loose connection, or break in the line.
If power steering levels are good (check cap and see what type of fluid to fill with as the two options of power steering fluid can cause major problems if mixed or the wrong one is used it will be either power steering fluid or ATF [automatic transmission fluid]) then the next step is to replace the clamps on the rubber hosing check manual for details specific to your make/model/year Visually inspect for what appears to be loosest. There may also be a crack either in the rubber on the conecting side or somewhere along the hose visually inspect for crack. beyond this replace all rubber lines and clamps related to the suction side. If issue persists you may consider replacing the power steering pump.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED A SPECIALTY TOOL WHICH I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE AT ONE OF THE AFTERMARKETS SHOPS AS IT MOST LIKLY WILL NOT GET A LOT OF USE FROM THE AVERAGE PERSON. IT LOOKS LIKE A DEEPWELL SOCKET, WITH A LARGE SECTION CUT OUT ON ONE SIDE FOR THE WIRES ON THE O2 SENSORS TO STICK OUT. YOU SIMPLY DISCONNECT THE SENSORS WIRE HARNESS, THE LOOSEN THE SENSOR. REPLACE WITH NEW SENSOR, RECONNECT HARNESS. YOU MAY SMELL A HOT TYPE ODOR THE FIRST TIME OR TWO THAT YOU DRIVE AFTER REPLACING THE SENSOR.

Well this is a tricky answer... The two front fenders will fit on the DJ5. Obviously you can't install any kind of fender flares on the rear wheel wells due to the sliding doors. As for the grill, the DJ5 had 5 grill slots and the CJ5 has the signature 7 grill slots. I would imagine that it will fit no matter the side that the steering wheel is located because the entire engine compartment was designed for left or right side drive. Look at any CJ 5, 7 or 8... there are areas on the firewall that can be "punched" for that very reason.

hey, if you mean the the little cylinder thing in your colum, i am working and stuck on that at the moment, you have to pull your steering wheel off, take your blinker etc stuff out, then there are like 5 little holes and in the bottom of one of them there is a screw, you have to take that out and then the cylinder should pull out

How do you remove the Dash board of a 1984 CJ7 Jeep?
I think you are talking about the dash pad - the soft vinyl part on the top of the dash. It's a TRICKY one at first glance, but EASY!!!! There are like 4 - 5 bolts that you can see to take off on the front - I'm sure you have those off. And it probably seems like it's almost off - but it's not. Look on the far left and far right of the windshield on the inside, just below where the windshield meets the frame of the Jeep (on the outside, it will be right where the hinges are I think). You'll see a knob that looks like what you'd turn an oven on with. Those are screws. Remove those screws and fold your windshield down. CAREFUL - make sure your top is off or loose enough to get the windshield down. If you have a hard top, you might need a buddy to lift it up while you fold, or just take it off. Also, if your windshield hasn't been down in a while, it might need a squirt of WD-40 and a little TLC to fold down. Mine (I have an 84 too0 was surprisingly easy to get down!) Behind the windshield, kinda on the back of the firewall area, you'll see a few more screws that hold the pad, just like on the inside…sorry, I don't remember how many…I took my dash off last weekend and didn't count! Happy restoration!
