Steps:
- Open the hood of your SUV.
- Behind the battery on the drivers side is a plastic covered connector labeled Diagnostics.
- Open the plastic cover on the Diagnostics port by pulling up on the edge near the FRONT of the vehicle.
- Get your prepped/stripped jumper wire and place one end in connector 6 as shown in the pictures.
- Run the other end of the jumper wire to the POSITIVE terminal on your battery, you can just push it into the little opening on there so it stays in place for a few minutes.
- Get into your vehicle with your key fobs.
- Put one key into your ignition and turn to ON position, DO NOT start your vehicle.
- If you just have ONE key fob to reprogram, when you turn the vehicle to ON, hold the LOCK button down for 3 seconds, the lights on the dash will go off, and you are done. Turn the key off, disconnect the wire, and try the key fob.
- If you have TWO key fobs to reprogram, turn the key to ON, hold the first LOCK button for 1 second, then the second one for 1 second. Turn the key off after the lights on the dash go off and remove the jumper wire. Test both Key Fobs.

The fuel cut-off switch is located under the hood on the passenger side of the engine. Raise the hood. Note where the gas shock is mounted at the fender. 1/2 way between the shock and the front of the engine you will note a rubber plunger about the size of a quarter right along the top edge of the fender. That's it. This is the reset in case the car is bumped etc.
However, In case you need to relieve the pressure in the fuel line, you need to lift the flap over the fuel pump in the trunk and remove the power wire, start the car and run it until it quits (runs out of gas by relieving the fuel pressure). How do you change low beam headlight on a 2006 Kia Sorento?
There are 3 bolts that hold the headlight assembly in, believe they are 10mm, remove these bolts. Pull the assembly out, it maybe kinda hard, it is held in place by a snap in the rear. Remove the round black cover b y twisting. You should now see the backside of the bulb and its wire connection. Pull the connector off. There is a spring(keeper) that holds the blub in, it is removed by removing the screw with a phillipshead screwdriver. There is only one way the keeper will fit, so remember that position. Remove the blub and replace it with a new one. You will need a H7 blub. Just reverse the procedure to reinstall. You can find these bulbs at any parts house, but the cheapest I have found is at Wal-Mart. Be careful and do not TOUCH ANY PART OF THE GLASS BULB as the oil from your skin will cause the blub to shatter when the lights are turned on.
