Try tightening your gas cap, We had the same problem and the gas cap wasn't tight all the way, We tightened the cap and it went off, after awhile. you may have to replace it, but tighten to allot of clicks and make sure its secure. Something to do with the pressure of the gas tank, but that's just one reason, there could be a CO2 sensor out or a fuel temp sensor, but try that and if it doesn't work go to Auto Zone and have them do a engine light check. they do it free of charge. or most auto parts dealers

You can also make use of cars classifieds found online to seek out other 2004 Kia Sorento LX that is available in your area or a location that you could reach. A fork tool is helpful in releasing the ball joints. The bearings are pressed in the hub. so you need a press to separate the parts and put it back together. A shop will do the pressing for you at good savings if you take the hub off the car. Call around to make arrangements.

1. First remove the plastic triangle with the tweeter, gently pry it off. The "clip" / "retaining point" is situated about 1/2" from the tweeter outside ring above it at about 2 o'clock angle (north-east). The clip is a round plastic cylinder with a metal clip screwed to it. (or for the passenger side, the clip is at about 10 o'clock). When that is off, disconnect the wire harness, then you will see one 10mm bolt that holds the mirror on.

2. The other two bolts are under the door panel, but you don't have to remove the door panel. Just remove the two plastic door panel screws along the front edge of the door, and slightly pull the door panel away until you can see the other two 10mm bolts.

3. Remove the three 10mm bolts. I used a ratcheting closed end wrench and slipped it in where I pulled the door panel out slightly. Once all three bolts are out, disconnect the mirror's wire harness and the mirror is free.

Take it to the dealer. It's a hard one to do yourself.
