It depends on the species of fish. Most short lived fish like livebearers will start breeding at a few weeks and so will many of the smaller silversides like Australian Rainbows, some tetras and some danios. Others like some of the larger cichlids may not start until they are several years old.

A butterfly Koi is simply a Koi with longer and straggly finnage. They are sexed in exactly the same way as all other Koi and/or goldfish. The Koi does not reach sexual maturity until it is about 10 inches long so it can not be sexed until then. Once sexually mature the females tend to have a chubbier appearance than the males and (as with goldfish) the males develop whitish spots (Pimples) on their gill plates and pectoral fins when they come into breeding condition.

Angelfish can survive on a basic diet of flake food. I've seen them up to 3' and herd stories of them getting bigger. Koi, a variety of carp and closely related to goldfish, tend to grow (or not) to match the dimensions of its habitat. So carp in rice paddies can become quite large, whereas carp or koi in small tanks will remain small.

Depends on how big they are, but you have to remeber they will grow big i would suggest no more then two. I have 2 in mine right now and they are fine with that but they are still 6inchs once they reach 20'' they probable wont enjoy that much and might slow there growth.

Yes Koi are omnivourous. Any meat you give them needs to have all fat removed and be cut into pieces small enough for them to swallow easily. Raw beef and chicken are good. Koi will also eat cheese. Earthworms are a special favourite. Always remove any leftover/uneaten meats within 30 minutes. Failure to do this will result in the water being poisoned and the fish being damaged or even dying.
