Daisy Douglas Barr was the Imperial Empress (leader) of the WKKK of Indiana and seven other states with about 250,000 members. The WKKK often worked closely with, and shared many members with, the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU)

They most definitely are having problems. Try to direct them to get additional help like individual conseling/AA for the group therapy doesn't seem to be doing enough. Usually addicts need more than just group therapy.

The KKK used 3 main forms of terrorism which were lynching, bombings. and shootings. They also beat and whipped blacks.

I'm sure that the Klansman would be quite stressed but it is likely that the couple would know nothing about his feeling because for him to act on those feeling may be breaking the law. If he said something to the couple, it is likely that they would not care how he felt. The Klansman would be in a small minority in today's society and unless he did something to vent his feelings illegally, he is free to think what he wishes.

The Ku Klux Klan was a violent and virulent organization that took as its central belief that only White Protestant Christian individuals had a right and privilege to live and govern in the United States. They proceeded to threaten numerous minorities, especially African-Americans, with violence. As part of these threats, they would leave burning crosses on the lawns of "enemies". They would also perform lynchings to murder innocent members of the minority groups and incite fear and further violence through such acts.

In the Southern United States, from the 1880s to 1950s, the KKK was given almost free reign to sow unmitigated hatred and violence. The police oftentimes ignored or actively supported the KKK's acts of violence and terror since many Southerners were of the same mentality of human inequality that the KKK espoused.

they targeted blacks mostly in the 1860s but now they are targeting latinos and Hispanics mostly. andd they also but not nearly as much target asians. they would lynch black people or simply use racism or talk at KKK rallys

All fair minded people had a positive reaction to the 15th amendment to the US Constitution, with the exception of women who applauded the amendments purposes but felt they were going to continue to be second class citizens. In the South, it was a different story. Hate and racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan responded with an increase in violence against Afro-Americans. Democrats, whatever their particular individual views were, made political gains as the Klan continued to terrorize Black voters who generally voted Republican. To combat the hate group violence, Congress passed the Enforcement Act of 1870 to appoint supervisors to ensure as best they could, that voting rights were not hampered in states with a bad record on finding ways to disenfranchise Black voters.
