Person with low attention span needs to start revision as early as time allows, well before the examination day. Also, a normal person can only concentrate for 20 minutes before they need to take some rest before starting back again. Taking small breaks every ten minutes until consistency is achieved is advised. Listening to light music in the background, or having something healthy to snack (with high glycemic index e.g. nuts) also helps.

All work takes away play time - that's why it's called work.

I would spend the first day of tutoring the same way you spend the first day of school - get to know the students and find out what they will need from you. If you can, have each student give you a copy of their class schedule, as detailed as they can make it. If their teacher has given them a syllabus, that will be perfect - you need to be able to know what work the student is going to be responsible for, so that you can best help them. Have each student write their name, address, and phone number(s) for you - it might be a good idea to have a folder or notebook with each student's information so that you have everything for that student in one place at all times. Find out what areas of study each student thinks is their best and worst, and have them tell you what they hope to accomplish with your help.

in my opinion i think teachers give way to much homework for a student to handle. There also comes a time when i think that teachers do this to students to prepare for the future at hand. Also, i play softball so i think that they should give students less homework in one day and give it another day.

What? Relations means how people get along. Limiting homework would not affect relations at all.

No work is done and no experience is gained.

When no work is done, then you don't get any money, or you don't complete your homework, which means that you either get fired, chatised, or your grade is lowered. When no experience is gained, it is more difficult to complete that task (the one you did not do) if asked to do it. This makes is more difficult to learn from your mistakes as you did not learn how to do it when you were supposed to learn how to do it.

If you've got the money, overseas study can broaden your experiences and give you new cultural understanding. You don't necessarily learn more, but you'll be more focused because everything will be new and interesting. To match a word with a description, you will either draw lines from the word to the description, or the decriptions will have letters or numbers beside them which you need to put in a blank beside the matching word.

Go down the list and match the ones you are sure of, then go back through the list to do the ones you are not sure of. Doing it this way eliminates choices and makes it more likely that you will get the ones you are not sure of correct.

It depends. Two hours total homework isn't too much - you can get that done before dinner and have the whole evening free. Two hours on top of what you're already doing seems a bit much and you should have a talk with your teachers about how much work you have every night.
