What can you do to stop aye-ayes from being extinct?

The forests of Madagascar are disappearing due to expanding subsistence agriculture; wood gathering for firewood, charcoal, and construction; and illegal logging. To help, avoid buying products made with rosewood or ebony, especially if you don't know the source. You can also volunteer with humanitarian or conservation groups that work in Madagascar, or donate money to organizations like the Madagascar Fauna Group. Furthermore, you can support ecotourism by visiting Madagascar.

Aye-ayes are also threatened by local superstition, which results in people killing them on site. Again, volunteer work or donations to conservation organizations are the best way to help.

What is the life cycle for a flying lemur?

My uncle is a zoo-ologist thing so here is some info he sent me hope that it helps!!! A ring-tailed lemur mother gives birth to one or two young between August and October, when the rainy season begins. Newborns ride on their mother's belly for the first two weeks, then graduate to riding on her back. It takes about two years for ring-tailed lemurs to reach adulthood. Lemurs, like most primates, are fairly long-lived. They can live for up to 35 years in captivity and up to 25 years in the wild so they perform substationally well in zoos wildlife parks etc. Good luck!

How does the aye aye adapt?

The aye-aye has evolved an unusual set of adaptations to extract food from structurally defended resources. It's rodent-like front teeth allow it to chew through hard surfaces, such as nuts and wood. To find insect grubs burrowed in trees, the aye-aye has a skinny finger that it uses to tap with and bat-like ears that is uses to hear the resulting vibrations. This allows it to find the hollow spots in the wood. It then uses those teeth to create an opening in the tree and then fishes out the grub with its skinny, highly-dexterous finger.

Do ring tailed lemur live in Texas?

In Texas, any kind of animal can be owned, although dangerous ones (listed by the state) require a license. A ring-tailed lemur would require no license.

However, it is not a good idea to get a ring-tailed lemur as a pet. Although they look cute, they require a special diet that most people can't provide; they require specialized veterinary care (most vets won't treat them); they can catch and transmit many of the same diseases you catch (because they are primates); they will scent-mark, pee, and poop all around the house (and cannot be trained out of it); they *require* constant companionship with another ring-tailed lemur (otherwise they become neurotic); and they can become aggressive and bite (requiring a hospital visit and usually IV antibiotics).

When does a baby bush baby start walking?

Baby chicks can start walking as soon as there hatched. I bought about fifty chicks from the McMurray Hatchery and as soon as I put them in their crate the walked right over to their food and water.

Why is your tamagotchi in a long sleep?

If your tamagotchi is still, and looks a bit like an angel, I'm sorry, it's dead.

If it's it's normal figure, and not paused, then you might want to check his health stats and try some of the other button options.

He also may be sleeping. If he is, I can assure you it will wake up soon enough.

Another option is that your tamagotchi may have some sort of technical fault. Make sure no sand or water has got into the buttons.

If you think all is clear, and you've checked all these steps, then maybe you will have to restart your tamagotchi (by pointing a sharp object into the back hole)

With some versions, when the tama is an egg, you can press B (I think) and then it will come up with two options. Download or reset. Try pressing download, it might just activate your old tamagotchi and see if it works there.

Thanks,
