Your 2000 Saturn LS1 has recently had problems with the right turn singal shutting off the night lights when you apply it and kno it works but you have no night lights or high beams.?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The 2000 LS1, being the first year of the L-series, has had quite a few minor problems like that. That is caused by some of the wiring being chafed, and Saturn issued a recall in 2003 to fix this, and a few other problems with the car. The problem with the lights and blinker usually only occurs if you live in a humid area.

Is London England far south enough to get a truly dark sky - without astronomical twilight on the northern horizon - at night in the middle of June?

User Avatar

Asked by DiamondXmas

The light pollution from London street lights, etc, would make viewing the night sky rather poor. June nights are short, so complete darkness is fleeting. The night sky would be better viewed further towards the south coast, away from built-up areas, provided it wasn't cloudy and raining (UK weather!).

Can people die from light pollution?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Light pollution is generally not life-threatening, but it can easily disrupt a person's sleep cycle if unnecessary light always enter one's house. As far as I am concerned, lack of sleep doesn't cause death but light pollution is a nuisance for drivers in large cities because some lights are so bright that the driver could get "dazzled" by the light - which in tuen can lead to a fatal accident, so in that sense, people CAN die from light pollution.

What causes a Geo Metro to die when you stop at a light unless you hold the brake and gas together?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Your idle may need to be set up a little I had the same problem with my 1992 Geo Metro 3 cylinder 1 Liter, when i stopped at a stop light the car would die. Check your compression on all cylinders, most likely the problem is with some burned exhaust valves. I overhauled my motor, new piston rings and replaced all exhaust valves, now it idles just fine. Answer--- You may have a flithy air filter which will starve the car. Or it could be dirty injectors and a fuel filter that needs changing. A whole lot cheaper to try these before you do a rebuild.
