If your mp3 player came with a disc, put the disc into the disc slot in your computer and follow the installation instructions. If it came with simply a plug, plug it in to the computer (if it's a USB plug, it should be pretty easy to find) and drag your mp3 files to its icon. With a macintosh, it should simply show up in the Finder or desktop, with windows go to the start menu and click "My Computer" The bar that shows up at the top of the window should be able to open down and display your mp3 player. click that and drag mp3 files to it.
Peer-to-peer is a type of network design where all devices support roughly equivalent capabilities.
Peer-to-peer networking (also known simply as peer networking) is in contrast to client/server networking, where certain devices have responsibility for providing or
"serving" network information and other devices consume or
otherwise act as "clients" of those servers.
I really cannot answer that because my mom does it for me. Limewire is junk and most of their songs are illegally copyrighted. I suggest Rhapsody or iTunes. I have a few problems with iTunes but it's better than Limewire, trust me!
=== === Downloading music on Limewire, if free music, is completely illegal and against the law. If you are participating in this illegal act, stop immediately, as police could easily track you down and arrest you. Hundreds of adults and teenagers are being arrested because of downloading free music illegally.
Music and other files sourced from filesharing networks like Limewire is the most common cause for software corruption on iPods. If you notice your iPod is no longer working correctly (battery not charging, iPod not recognized by computer, songs skipping, etc.), then you may have corrupt software on your iPod. Often, if you're using Windows, the iPod is no longer recognized, so you can't restore it or erase it to fix the problem. If that is the case, find a friend with a Mac or take it to an Apple store and have them restore it for you. Please also note that downloading songs from file sharing services that you don't own the license to (translation: have bought the album or song for already) is copyright infringement, and is not only illegal, it's wrong. Artists deserve to be paid for their work. Paying for software like Limewire doesn't actually mean you have legal rights to the files...only to the software you're using
In your iTunes program, go to "file" in the top left corner. Once you are there, you can click either "add folder to library" or "add file to library". When you've found the song(s) you want to put into iTunes, click the button that will say either "add folder to library" or "add file to library" and it will convert the limewire file to a format that iTunes will understand. Then, you can put the file onto your iPod as you normally would. For more info, I would suggest typing in your question on youtube for a perhaps clearer explanation.
I wouldn't download them in the first place. My friend did and she had to buy a whole new iPod because it screwed it all up!
most mp3 players will show up on your computer like a flash drive when you plug them in. If you go into "my computer" in windows, you should see your mp3 show up as a removable drive. From there you can just click and drag songs from your limewire folder onto the mp3 player.
That is also true but to add a little more detail you have your list of songs pulled up on limewire, you highlight them all and the right click, you then click locate on device and they will show up you then highlight them again and drag them over to your removable drive [mp3].
Yes. The reason i know is because it crashed my laptop and completely destroyed my friend's new ipod nano because she downloaded songs from limewire. And a guy who works at the computer store said that limewire is a major computer virus.
The World Wide Web (the Web, WWW, or W3) is a system of universally accepted standards for storing, retrieving, formatting, and displaying information via a client/server architecture. The Web handles all types of digital information, including text, hypermedia, graphics, and sound.

There are numerous Peer To Peer (P2P) applications such as FrostWire (See links below) but with the closure of LimeWire these too may start to limit their operations to avoid similar injunctions.
As long as reasonable care is taken not to download any files that are not what they say then you will probably be ok, however you should have a good anti virus programme running at all times on your computer

By default, iTunes Music uses AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format. You cannot download iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player.
To transfer iTunes files or other files to your portable player, you can use a third-party tool like Macsome iTunes Converter. It is able to download iTunes files and Apple Music songs to MP3, so that you can transfer iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player or other devices without limits.
There is of course many so called peer-to-peer sharing programs. The top two are Limewire and Frostwire. I personally do not advise anyone to use this software. The software is full of viruses embedded in files. Unlike popular belief, all computers are at risk with peer-to-peer software. Macs, PCs, Linux, etc. are at a huge risk. Not to mention, your files will be so called "grabbed" and placed in the cloud for everyone to download. There are ways to disable that, but personally I wouldn't use it in the first place.
-Hope this Helps!
NO.
LimeWire Pro means you are paying for the media that you download. So that means it is not illegal. This is because you are technically BUYING the media that you want at home instead of going to the store.
If you have NOT paid for LimeWire, however, then it IS illegal. You are stealing the media. Downloading media from LimeWire for free is the same thing as robbing a store's CD's.
From my research it appears that Limewire is a p2p sharing site which once was perfectly legal but was abused for illiegal downloading and pirating and has now recently been ruled illegal and forcibly shut down.
