It seems that Rico is basically the only one out of the four that would be crazy enough to swallow all of those things. Naturally, a penguin couldn't possibly swallow all of the stuff we see Rico barf up, let alone sticks of dynamite with the fuse lit, so the writers and creators are taking animated artistic license with Ricos' regurgitating and creating hilarious scenarios with it. Imagine, a penguin scarfing down explosives and smoke bombs? FIRST of all, where would he get the MONEY to pay the black market for all of that stuff?
