That's a really good question... you should start thinking about revamping the 1980's make-up trends such as using fruity lipglosses or high shine lip glazes along with really pinky lipsticks. Use full coverage foundations complete with eyeshadows in vibrant hues such as oceanic blues, violets, lilacs and greens. Creamy blushes and gel blushes in really pinky, plummy, cherry, reddish and raspberry shades area absolutely ideal and don't forget the really black mascaras to complete the look.

I would recommend MAC foundations and concealers because they give a lot of coverage. Drugstore brands just aren't gonna cut it.

Hello there! I think the answer to your question is highly subjective and would vary from person to person. But from my experience, strengths of MAC are their brushes (187 and 217 are great!), concealers, and their eye shadows. I also like the fact that we, the customers, can create our own customized palette instead of buying a pre-made palette where we only like one or two of the colours. On the other hand, for me personally, I dislike their foundation and their high high prices!

This stuff works magic for me and I think it's relatively new. Revlon ColorStay Aqua I think is the full name. Not only does it cover up acne, it covers up scars, liver spots (if you have them), bruises, and other spots on your face that is not the right color. It also has moisturizer in it, and it makes your skin soft. They use coconut milk to moisturize, though, so if your worried about it causing acne, it won't. It makes me look like I'm glowing I think because it gives me (like they say in the makeup ads) an "airbrushed" finish. Make sure you find the right color. First are "cream to powder" foundations. These come in a compact and are applied with a dry sponge--they give you one with the compact, and it's fine. Cover Girl makes a pretty good one of these.

The other kind are "mineral" foundations. They look like loose powder but cover far better. I wear Bare Minerals, but that's expensive; Maybelline makes a good drugstore line.

If you are asking how to put on makeup.. here are some general suggestions

1. swipe some bronzer over your cheekbones and around your face in a 3 shape

2. conceal all blemishes and dark circles. ( green concealers are great for covering red splotches.

3. Add a light top coat of mineralized powder.

4. Add some blush to the apples of your cheek.

5. Swipe some highlighter on your cheekbones, eyebrow bone, and the inner corner of your eyes.

6. curl lashes and add mascara

7. put a champagne colour all over lid, put a taupe or brown in the crease. Line the upper lid and smudge slightly
