Hello there! I think the answer to your question is highly subjective and would vary from person to person. But from my experience, strengths of MAC are their brushes (187 and 217 are great!), concealers, and their eye shadows. I also like the fact that we, the customers, can create our own customized palette instead of buying a pre-made palette where we only like one or two of the colours. On the other hand, for me personally, I dislike their foundation and their high high prices!

You could probably buy it from any drugstore/shop or counter that sells makeup. You could get a full palette, with all the colours on it. Some of which you can personalise to suit the colours you want - which could be a good idea for 'rainbow eyes', or you might have to get numerous pots with a variety of colours. Not only does it cover up acne, it covers up scars, liver spots (if you have them), bruises, and other spots on your face that is not the right color.
