Yes, cotton picking was tiring, back then in the day, but went you were born in south Texas, and being Mexican. Went their was no other way to put food in your table, you had to pick cotton for five to six months of the year. No it was not painful, it was a way to survive back then, we had to travel for hundreds of mile every year, just to carve out a living, picking cotton was our only hope back then for a better life.
